Abstract

A tea bag with a sweetener that is either mixed with the tea leaves or impregnated with the bag or coated on the bag. The sweetener may be artificial (eg. saccharine or aspartame) or natural (eg. sucrose or xylitol). In an alternative version the sweetener can be impregnated into the string attached to the bag. The tea bag replaces the need to add sugar; as a result, making the process of making tea more efficient.

Description

Tea bag with sweetener
Full description
A tea bag made from a porous material, which contains tea leaves for brewing tea coated in, or impregnated with, or mixed into tea leaves with an artificial (e.g., saccharine, aspartame) or natural (e.g., sucrose, Xylitol) sweetener -and! or the string that is attached to the tea bag with a paper label at the other end coated in, or impregnated with an artificial (e.g., saccharine, aspartame) or natural (e.g., sucrose, Xylitol) sweetener.
This combination would replace the need to add sugar to a cup of tea, as you would normally do. The length of time a tea bag remains in a cup of water could determine the level of sweetness achieved.
