246,004. White, A. E., (Sparks-Withing- ton Co.). May 26, 1925. Brackets, adjusting and securing. - A bracket for supporting a warning horn upon the engine of a motor vehicle comprises two sheet metal strips 1, 2 slidably connected by a bolt 11 and each formed with an attaching lug 5, the shorter strip 2 having an upwardly bent horn-attaching flange 13, the arrangement being such that the flange 13 is always positioned between the ends of the longer strip 1. A pair of spring plates 14 are attached to each side of the flange 13, a distance piece 18 and a part of the horn structure being clamped between them by bolts passed through holes 19. Specification 194,388 is referred to.
