Abstract

A drilling mud collector (1) for a slip joint (2) of a riser (4), the slip joint (2) comprising an outer pipe (6) and an inner pipe (8) and also at least one first seal (10) between the inner pipe (8) and the outer pipe (6), wherein a second seal (24) encloses the inner pipe (8), and wherein a collector compartment (32) is provided between the seals (10, 24).
