Abstract

A frame for use when plastering around a vent <B>3</B>, socket or similar rectangular recess comprises a rectangular frame <B>2</B> with mesh <B>1</B> on the outside of the frame. The frame <B>2</B> may be fixed over the vent <B>3</B> or recess by means of fixings or adhesive, plaster and/or render is then applied over the mesh <B>2</B> so that a clean finish is produced. The frame <B>2</B> makes rendering easier when working around an existing vent <B>3</B>. The frame <B>2</B> may be made from metal and/or plastics.
