Abstract
A hand held sprayer device has a release valve arrangement 410 which permits detachment of a hose 600, and associated spray nozzle 500. As such the detached hose 600 may be stored in a space efficient manner in a pocket 150. More specifically the sprayer features (fig.2) a water chamber 110, valve 410, control set 200, pump 210, support board 300, and nozzle 500 and hose 600.The device may be used in the spray cleaning of vehicles.

Vehicle-use Direct-Current Sprayer Background of Invention
1. Field of Invention
The present invention relates to a sprayer and, more particularly, to a vehicle-use direct-current sprayer with a detachable hose.
2. Related Prior Art
Disclosed in Taiwanese Patent Publication No. 150571 is a sprayer for spraying water by pressurizing the water. The sprayer can be used to wash a building or a vehicle. The sprayer is equipped with a water cannon 50 connected to a hose 52 which is connected to a container 30 installed in a shell 20. When not in use, the water cannon 50 can be detached from the hose 52, and the hose 52 can be detached from the container 30. However, the water cannon 50 and the hose 52 cannot be packed up.
The present invention is therefore intended to obviate or at least alleviate the problems encountered in prior art.
Summary of Invention
According to the present invention, there is provided a vehicle-use direct-circuit sprayer which comprises a body, a component set, a support board, a hose and a nozzle. The body comprises a water chamber therein for containing water and a component chamber therein for receiving the component set. The component set comprises a pump, a first pipe connected between the pump and the water chamber, and a second pipe connected between the pump and the support board. The support board comprises a l

controlling board and a bottom board. The controlling board comprises a switch for controlling the pump, a valve connected with the second pipe, and an inlet for connecting with a direct current.
An advantage of the sprayer according to the present invention is the hose can be detached from the shell and cleaned well.
Another advantage of the sprayer according to the present invention is its easy maintenance and repair. This is because the component set can be taken out from the component chamber easily.
Other advantages and novel features of the present invention will become apparent from the following detailed description referring to the attached drawings.

Detailed Description of Invention
Referring to Figs. 1 to 3, there is shown a vehicle-use direct-current sprayer in accordance with a first embodiment of the present invention. The sprayer comprises a body 100, a control set 200, a support board 300, a component set 400, a nozzle 500 and a hose 600 connected between the component set 400 and the nozzle 500.
The body 100 defines a water chamber 110 with an opening (not labeled) for containing water, a component chamber 120 separated from the water chamber 110 for receiving the component set 400, a handle 130 thereon for helping the user to move the sprayer, a cap 140 for covering the opening of the water chamber 110, and a pocket 150 for storing the hose 600 and the nozzle 500.
The control set 200 comprises a pump 210, a first pipe 220 connected the water chamber 110 of the body 100 to the pump 210, and a second pipe 230 connected the pump 210 to the component set 400.
The support board 300 covers the component chamber 120 of the body 100 and comprises a bottom board 310 and a front board 320. The bottom board 310 is used for fixing the pump 210 with several screws (not labeled). The front board 320 is used for fixing the component set 400.
The component set 400 comprises a valve 410, an inlet 420, a switch 430, and a dummy plug 440.
Referring to Figs. 4 to 6, the valve 410 comprises a first joint 411, a second joint 412, a housing 413, a core 414 movable in the housing 413, a seal 415 installed on the core 414, a spring 416 compressed between the housing

413 and the core 414, a shackle 417 for locking second joint 412 to the housing 413 and a latch 418 for retaining the shackle 417.
The first joint 411 is connected between the second pipe 230 and the housing 413. The first joint 411 includes a first section 4111 and a second section 4112. The first section 4111 of the first joint 411 is formed as an anchor 4113 for insertion in the second pipe 230. The periphery of the anchor 4113 is serrated lengthwise. The periphery of the second section 4112 of the first joint 411 is hexagonal that can be held by means of a wrench. A strap 900 is used to tighten the second pipe 230 against the anchor 4113 of the first joint 411. A thread is formed on the interior of the second section 4112 of the first joint 411 for connecting with the housing 413.
The second joint 412 is connected between the housing 413 and the hose 600. The second joint 412 includes a first section 4121, a second section 4122 and a third section 4123. The first section 4121 of the second joint 412 is formed as an anchor 4124 for insertion in the hose 600. The periphery of the anchor 4124 is serrated lengthwise. A ferrule 800 is used to tighten the hose 600 around the anchor 4124. The second section 4122 of the second joint 412 is formed as a flange 4125 for abutment with the housing 413. The third section 4123 of the second joint 412 includes a neck 4126 with a reduced diameter and a seal 4127 around the third section 4123 of the second joint 412.
The housing 413 defines a channel 4131 axially. Formed on the wall of the channel 4131 is a rib 4132 (Fig. 5), thus dividing the channel 4131 into a first chamber and a second chamber. The rib 4132 includes an inclined side and a vertical side.
The housing 413 includes a first section, a second section and a third section. Formed on the first section of the housing 413 is a thread for

connecting with the interior of the second section 4112 of the first joint 411. The periphery of the second section of the housing 413 is hexagonal that can be driven by means of a wrench. A dovetail groove 4133 is defined in an end surface of the third section of the housing 413. A recess 4134 is defined in the end surface of the third section of the housing 413. A cavity 4135 is defined in the periphery of the third section of the housing 413. From the bottom of the cavity 4135 projects a stem 4136.
The core 414 includes a groove 4141 around a close end 4145, a plurality of protrusions 4142 on the periphery of an open end 4146 and a passageway
4143 therein axially. The passageway 4143 is closed at the close end 4145 and opened at the open end 4146. In the periphery of the core 414 has a slot
4144 in communication with the passageway 4143 at least.
The shackle 417 defines an opening 4171 and a slit 4172 in communication with the opening 4171. A tab 4173 transversely extends from the shackle 417. The shackle 417 can lock the second joint 412 in the housing 413 through the opening 4171.
The latch 418 includes a recess 4181 in a first end and a neck 4182 with a reduced diameter near a second end. The latch 418 can limit the position of the shackle 417 in the dovetail groove 4133.
The inlet 420 is used for receiving the direct current and connected with the switch 430 and the pump 210.
The switch 430 is connected between the inlet 420 and the pump 210 for controlling the operation of pump 210.
The dummy plug 440 is acted as a protective cover for covering the inlet
420.
Referring to Figs.3 and 4, when the user switches on the sprayer, the pump

210 will draw out water from the water chamber 110 of the body 100 through the first pipe 220, and transfer the water to the valve 410 through second pipe 230.
Referring to Fig. 5, when the second joint 412 is inserted into the housing 413, the core 414 will be pushed toward the first joint 411, in the same time, the second joint 412 is secured in the housing 413 by the shackle 417, and the water can flow to the valve 410 through first joint 411, housing 413, the gap between the rib 4132 of the housing 413 and the core 414, second joint 412 to the hose 600 in order.
Referring to Fig. 6, the user can push the tab 4173 of the shackle 417 to release the second joint 412 from the housing 413, when the second joint 412 is released from the housing 413, the spring 416 will push the core 414 toward second joint 412 to close the gap between the core 414 and the rib 4132 of the housing 413 so that the water can not pass the valve 410.
The sprayer of the present invention exhibits several advantages.
Firstly, the present invention is the hose 600 can be detached from the sprayer and cleaned well.
Secondly, the present invention is its easy maintenance and repair. This is because the component set 400 can be taken out from the component chamber 120 easily.
The present invention has been described through the illustration of the preferred embodiment. Those skilled in the art can derive variations from the preferred embodiment without departing from the scope of the present invention. Therefore, the preferred embodiment shall not limit the scope of the present invention defined in the claims.

8. The sprayer according to claim 7 comprising a strap for tightening the second pipe around the first section of the first joint.
9. The sprayer according to claim 1 wherein the valve further comprises a second joint comprising a first section for insertion into the hose, a second section for abutment with the housing and a third section received in the housing.
10. The sprayer according to claim 9 wherein the second joint further comprises a ferrule for tightening the hose around the first section of the second joint and a seal around the third section of the second joint for sealing contact with an internal side of the valve, wherein the second section of the second joint has a flange.
11. The sprayer according to claim 9 wherein the valve further comprises a shackle movable on the housing between a locking position for locking the third section of the second joint and a releasing position for releasing the third section of the second joint.
12. The sprayer according to claim 11 wherein the shackle comprises an opening through which the third section of the second joint can be inserted into the valve, wherein the second joint comprises a neck on the third section that can be locked by means of the shackle.
13. The sprayer according to claim 11 comprising a latch with a neck, wherein the shackle comprises a slit for receiving the neck of the latch, thus preventing detachment of the shackle from the valve.
14. The sprayer according to claim 11 wherein the housing further comprises a dovetail groove for receiving the shackle.

15. The sprayer according to claim 1 wherein the body further comprising a cap for sealing an opening of the water chamber.
16. The sprayer according to claim 1 wherein the support board comprising a bottom board for fixing the pump and a front board for fixing the component set.
17. The sprayer according to claim 1 wherein the body further comprises a pocket thereon for storing the hose.
18. The sprayer according to claim 1 wherein the component set further comprises a switch for control the direct current, and a dummy plug for covering the inlet.
