Abstract

An electric buggy which can travel over 14.48 km/hour (9 mph) is powered by a twin motor unit with control provided by two levers which are located on either side of the buggy. One lever controls the speed and the other stops the buggy. A speed limiter to decrease or increase the speed operates with a master on/off switch in conjunction with a foot operated brake. The buggy can be powered by one or more different type of battery with motors that are wired in parallel to the speed controller, a waterproof battery and a charging socket 19. In at least some embodiments, a vibrating back rest for use when stationary, a telescopic handle, a long canopy and a charging socket are provided. The buggy is typically collapsible and may comprise a detachable music player (see fig 1) within reach of a child occupant, comprising three buttons for letters of the alphabet, number counting and lullabies respectively. The speed limiter may be set via a dial to match a jogging or walking pace.

Description

* 2454679 Tiltle Electric Buggy This invention relates to an electric buggy This is for parents and carer who are shopping for more interesting and durable buggy that can grow with there child/ children and lost longer than most buggy A buggy that will also helps parentlcarer to be more active depending on the individuals However the use of the non electric buggy are challenging most times expecially for parent who does not drive and has to do small shopping. The buggy might be two lightweight, and may fell over with the shopping and the child. This electric buggy becomes useful during travelling, it is very useful for walking over a hill long, going distances which will be a huge discomfort for a small child especially on rough road or uneven surface. With all these Jounery's a child will become restless and boring, to overcome these problems the present invention proposes an electric buggy which means for the buggy to be more comfortable as interesting. This will not only benefits the child but the parents as well because it can be program to match their jogging or walking pace The child can then listen to a clip on music player that plays lullabys in other words this would be the adult version of ipod and mp3 player With a twin motor drive that gives the buggy a speed of over 9mph and a clip on music player carefully positioned so that the child can reached it more easily when they can sit up unaided. The buttons plays different tunes depending and how many times it is pressed The middle botton recites the alpabeth while the right buttons count numbers from 1-20 and the left plays different lullaby's There is also a compartment for the battery unit, and a master on/off switch. An orange lever makes the buggy accelerate depending and how hard it is squeezed. The electnc buggy automatically stops if the lever is released, the grey lever controls the break The master on/off switch and speed limiter dial, is used to set the speed to match your pace of mind. The foot operated parking breaks locks the rear wheels when the buggy is stationary, the buggy seat can be pull off the frame, the telescopic handle is push down and then the frame folds up The handle of the buggy can be swing over so that the parent's can have eye contact with the child This buggy provide a very luxury wipe down padded seat, a vibrate features to smooth the child when the buggy is stationary e.g standing at the bus stop or waiting for the train The position of the seat is adjustable, thre is an umbrella compartment position on the back of the buggy which is suitable for most weather conditions, and a build on rain cover as well as a long hood with tis there is no need for a parasol The invention will now be described solely by way of example and with reference accompanying drawings in which Figure 1. shows lullaby music player, Figure 2: shows the music player is carefully positioned so that the child can reach it easily, Figure 3 shows the master on/off switch on the back and holes for the sound from the speaker and also the battery compartment,
