Abstract

A golf tee peg comprising a tee X with a scalloped top surface thereby reducing the contact of the tee with the golf ball that is detachably attached to a peg B, thereby allowing tee to be attached to alternative pegs. The alternative pegs may be in the form of a spiral peg (A, fig 1), a cruciform peg B, or an all surface peg in the form of a platform supported by three cruciform legs (fig 3).

DESCRIPTION
SCALLOPED TEE PEGS
This invention relates to a tee peg with a tee that provides a better lift-off surface and three alternate pegs that give a firm and stable grip of the ground.
BACKGROUND
Over the years, the traditional tee peg has gone through a great deal of transformation and thus resulting with a market availing a wide range of tee peg inventions all of which in principle seek to improve golfing in general. Despite the efforts to provide a better tee peg, there still remain some technical challenges associated with tee pegs that are yet to be addressed.
Some of these challenges include the common experience of tee pegs flying into the air once the golf ball is hit and the other is a lack of tee pegs that could be used on different surfaces such as uneven grounds and all sorts of surfaces other than the traditional well-presented teeing off point.
As such, this invention seeks to address said drawbacks by introducing a new concept that advances the application a tee peg.
SUMMARY
The scalloped tee pegs has two parts, the tee' and the peg'. The tee as indicated on the drawing by (X) has a unique feature on the top side upon which a golf ball rests. The concept behind this unique scalloped feature is to allow minimum contact of the golf ball which as identified provides a better, more effective lift-off surface.
The second part being the peg is the part that is pressed into the ground to give a raised platform upon which a golf ball can be hit, is in three forms as indicated on the drawing by (A), (B) and (C).
(A) Represents the invention of a spiral peg for use on dry/ hard grounds provided as a teeing off point.
(B) Represents the invention of a cruciform peg for use either on the traditional teeing off point or on grounds covered with stones or other obstructing objects that makes teeing difficult using other tee pegs.
(C) Represents the invention of an all surface peg that comprises of a raised platform with cruciform legs.
As such, this invention is hereby submitted as having introduced a superior tee peg bearing new features which altogether equip the golfer' with the right kit. Further, this invention is easy to assemble and can be made from plastic, steal or any other material. 2.

Claims (6)

CLAIM
1) The invention of scalloped tee pegs hereby indicated by (X) on the drawings in Fig. 1, Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 comprises of a tee that is detachable from its peg and is attachable to three new peg inventions also hereby indicated by (A), (B) and (C) on the drawing.
2) The scalloped tee pegs according to claim I wherein the detachable tee has a scalloped top-surface.
3) The scalloped tee pegs according to claim 1 and 2 wherein the detachable tee is attachable to a spiral peg indicated by (A) on Fig. 1.
4) The scalloped tee pegs according to any of the preceding claim also comprises of a cruciform peg indicated by (B) on Fig. 2 which is attachable to the tee.
5) The scalloped tee peg according to any of the preceding claim where in the detachable tee is mountable on an all surface peg indicated by (C) in Fig. 3 on the drawing.
6) The scalloped tee peg according to claim 5 wherein the all surface peg is a raised platform supported by cruciform legs as indicated by (B) and (C) in Fig. 2 and 3 on the drawing.
