Caps. - The peak A of a cap is reinforced by a sheet-metal plate B formed at intervals with points or teeth adapted to be passed through holes in the peak and clenched. The plate may be of crescent shape and may carry one part C of the usual press fastening for attaching the front part of the cap to the peak.
