Abstract

Means for attaching hair extensions or wefts to natural hair comprises a clip. The clip may be in the form of a tube which can be compressed or crimped to hold the hair firmly. The clip may have an internal grip in the form of a piece of soft plastic or dried adhesive which may help to pack out the tube. The weft maybe of treble thickness, formed by folding in three and stitching by hand, separate stitching lines are then formed approximately every ² inch. The hair is parted, the weft placed on the parting and natural hair strands pulled through eyelets in the weft, a strand of hair from either side of the spaced stitching is then held by using the clip device as described above.

ftI The first 4 inches is then folded over the next 4 inches and sewn together to create double thickness. Drawing 2 C/ The rvmaining 4 Inches is then folded over the now doubled 4 inches and attached at the end of the doubled well, Drawing 3 0/ A sti cli connecting the now 2 wells is made along the wcft stitching every I. ÜL fl example wn is 12 inches but oil lengths can be used using the same proportions.. Drawing 4.
E/ A section of hair 5 inches long is taken along subject,s head. The well is placed along the section with the thicker layer uppermost Separate the top from the boUw by flipping it over and then clipping it away. Then use clips to secure the well to the t DrawingS.
