Abstract
A game playing apparatus comprises at least two toy figures 2,4 of human form. The two toy figures are postured or arranged to be postured such that when thrown together onto a playing surface, they may assume one or other of a variety of different sexual positions. The figures 2,4 can be of mixed gender or the same gender and preferably have a biasing arrangement to help the figures 2, 4 form a sexual position, in use. The biasing arrangement may be one magnet in the groin area of the toy figures 2,4 and one magnet in the head area of the toy figures 2,4. The toy figures 2,4 may also have an articulated joint allowing the posture of the figures 2,4 to be adjusted. The playing surface may take the form of a bowl-shaped receptacle. A score sheet may be provided so that players' scores may be recorded, the different sexual positions gaining different numbers of points. A second invention includes two toy figures which are biased towards one another when they are thrown on to a surface.
Description
____________ 2451067 Game Playing Apparatus The present invention relates to a game playing apparatus and, more particularly, to an apparatus for playing a game of chance.
Pass the Pigs, a commercial version of the dice game Pig, comprises a pair of toy pigs, the orientation of which, when thrown together by a player onto a playing surface, determines whether (and to what extent) that player is awarded a score.
we have now devised an arrangement which provides a far more entertaining game-play experience than Pass the Pigs, particularly to adult game-players.
In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a game playing apparatus comprising at least 2 toy figures of human form, the 2 toy figures being postured or arranged to be postured such that when thrown together onto a playing surface, they may assume one or other of a variety of different sexual positions.
The 2 toy figures may be of mixed gender form or of the same gender form.
Preferably each toy figure comprises means for biasing the figures towards one another, into at least one of said sexual positions. Preferably the biasing means comprises at least one magnet. The or each magnet may be incorporated into (e.g. moulded into) the body of the toy figure or into an article carried or worn by the figure. Preferably each toy figure comprises a magnet located in the vicinity of its groin area (for biasing the figures into at least one groin-to-groin sexual position) and, most preferably, a second magnet located in the vicinity of its face (for biasing the figures into at least one face-to-face and/or face-to-groin sexual position). :2-
Each toy figure may comprise at least one articulated joint, to allow the posture of the toy figure to be adjusted.
Preferably the game playing apparatus further comprises at least one score sheet, for recording players' scores, so that different numbers of points may be recorded according to the sexual position(s) which the figures assume, when thrown together onto a playing surface, at least once during each player's respective turn.
Preferably the game playing apparatus comprises a substantially bowl-shaped receptacle, the convex surface of which provides said playing surface.
Also in accordance with the present invention, there is provided a game playing apparatus comprising at least 2 toy figures (e.g. of human or animal form) and means for biasing the figures towards one another, when they are thrown onto a surface.
For example, each figure may comprise means (e.g. at least one magnet) for biasing the characters towards one another and/or the apparatus may comprise a substantially bowl-shaped receptacle, onto whose convex surface the characters are thrown.
Preferably the attachment means comprises at least one magnet.
Embodiments of the present invention will now be described by way of examples only and with reference to the accompanying drawings, of which: Figure 1 is a side elevation of a pair of toy figures in accordance with the present invention; and Figure 2 is a collection of side elevations, illustrating some of the various different sexual positions that the 2 toy figures may assume, when thrown together onto a playing surface.
Referring to Figure 1 of the drawings, a pair of toy figures 2, 4 is shown. Each of the toy figures 2, 4 contains a pair of magnets (not shown), one located in the vicinity of its groin area and the other in the vicinity of its face, and is postured such that when the toys are thrown together onto a playing surface, they will assume one or other of a variety of different sexual positions, such as one of those illustrated in Figure 2.
The sexual position(s) which the 2 toy figures 2, 4 assume, when thrown together onto a playing surface, at least once during each player's respective turn, determines that player's score, which is recorded on a score sheet (not shown).
Further variations of game play may be achieved by articulating the toy figures, so that their respective postures may be varied.
The apparatus thus described provides a far more entertaining game-play experience than existing games of chance.
