Abstract

An exercise apparatus comprises a strap of webbing which wraps about a door and which is adjustable and locks in position. D rings are sewn onto the webbing to which resistance bands may be attached using a karabiner. Resistance bands of various thicknesses are formed by looping the around an O ring and joined using a cable tie. A handle or ankle strap may be attached at one end. The bands may be attached a various heights to allow a number of exercises to be performed.

Description

1 2450464 New body System This invention relates to system, which
allows a person to perform a number of different exercises using bands of varying resistance from a number of fixed points.
When a person exercises using a resistance band it has had to be tied to an unstable point.
To over come this the invention proposes a length of webbing that can be attached and adjusted to any size door providing a variety of fixing point to perform a greater number of exercises.
Product consists of a strap of webbing that wraps around any door (figure 1.) is size adjustable with the use of a ladder lock (figure 2.) and locks in position using male and female connector clip (figure 3.).
There are five D rings sewn on the webbing (figure 4.) to which you can attach resistance bands using a carabena clip (figure 5.) The resistance bands are made using rubber tubing which is looped at each end around an 0 ring and fixed using a cable tie (figure 6.) allowing for attachment to the webbing at one end and a handle or ankle strap a the other.
The tubing is provided in differing thicknesses to allow for varying levels of resistance.
The bands can be attached at varying heights to allow the user to perform different exercises (figures 7-9.).

Claims (6)

  1. New Body System Patent Application No. 0621551.1 Claims I. A length of
    webbing that attaches to a door and can be adjusted in size to fit the door. A number of D rings attached at regular intervals providing attachment sites for resistance bands.
  2. 2. New Body System (NBS) according to claim 1 with attachment being provide via a male to female intersecting clip to join the two ends of the webbing.
  3. 3. NBS according to claim 1 using a ladder lock to adjust the size so it can fit any internal house hold door.
  4. 4. NBS according to claim I having 6 length of resistance band or varying resistance attached to the D rings via a carabeana.
  5. 5. Resistance bands according to claim 4 looped over an 0 ring and secured at each end with a zip tie.
