Abstract

A safe opening device for an automobile radiator comprises a thermometer mechanism that indicates the temperature of a vehicle radiator allowing the user to assess whether it is safe to open the radiator. The device may be located within the automobile or be located on or adjacent to the radiator. The device may have an indicator display indicating whether it is safe to open the radiator cap.

Description

Description
General Overview Automobile Radiator Opening Safety Indicator This claim is to specifically advise if it is safe to open a radiator cap using an indicator either placed on or nearby the radiator cap or within the automobile.
The indicator will read information from a thermometer mechanism to gauge/measure the temperature of the contents within an automobile radiator and illustrate the temperature data and relative opening safety.
The claim concurrently provides data to state that the automobile radiator is safe to re-ill with liquid.
Desi2n Specification
The thermometer gauge/measure will be a temperature thermometer which will be attached either within the automobile radiator or onto the automobile radiator and will be attached to an indicator display situated either within the vehicle or on the automobile radiator cap or on the engine displaying the relative temperature safety for opening the radiator cap.

Claims (1)

  1. The Claim Automobile Radiator Opening Safety Indicator This claim is to
specifically advise if it is safe to open an automobile radiator cap based on information displayed as an indicator either placed on or nearby the radiator cap or within the automobile. The indicator display will read information from a thermometer mechanism to gauge/measure the temperature of the contents within an automobile radiator.
The claim here is that a thermometer mechanism within an automobile is designed to indicate the temperature of the radiator and specifically advise whether the radiator is safe to open depending on the temperature of the contents of a radiator.
The claim concurrently provides data to state that the automobile radiator is safe to re-ill with liquid.
Technical features of the claim The Automobile Radiator Opening Safety Indicator display will either be within the automobile or on the automobile radiator cap or near the automobile radiator cap.
The Automobile Radiator Opening Safety Indicator display may have a colour chart illustrating a range of heat and relative opening safety or be as simple as to indicate "yes" or "no" or "safe" or "not safe" to open the automobile radiator cap safely or; The Automobile Radiator Opening Safety Indicator display may indicate the level of risk / safety for the opening of the automobile radiator cap or; The Automobile Radiator Opening Safety Indicator display will simply indicate whether it is safe (or not) to open the automobile radiator cap.
The connection from the thermometer to the radiator cap may be direct link or via a cable allowing the data of the temperature to be translated to the indicator display.
The Automobile Radiator Opening Safety Indicator display information I data may be extracted / taken from an existing automobile radiator thermometer within the automobile.
The radiator thermometer gauge could be a standard thermometer however it will be fitted either within the automobile radiator or onto the automobile radiator.
The thermometer may be made of plastic or metal or other fibre material or material construction and made of various shapes and size lengths and diameter.
