Abstract

A camping hammock protected by a waterproof tarpaulin (J, Fig. 3) suspended above is disdosed. The hammock comprises anti insect netting B supported by two arched poles A and an insulation pocket (E, Fig. 2) incorporated into the main hammock body material C. The insulation pocket may be filled with insulating material such as an inflatable camping mat to protect against cold weather. The hammock may be attached by ropes G to a supporting structure such as a tree (L, Fig. 3).

Description
A camping hammock with features that enable four season use such as incorporated anti insect netting (B) supported by two arched poles (A)which in turn are supported via tabs (H) by cord at each end to a tree or other supporting structure, the main hammock body material (C) is folded to allow for a pocket which is zipped (E) and used to fill with insulating material such as self inflating camping mats for one example, access to the hammock is by way of a zip via an entrance in the anti bug netting (I) to protect from the elements a waterproof tarpaulin (J) is placed in an apex design above the suspended hammock by way of a central ridge line of cord and guy lines on each of the tarpaulin corners.

  1. Claims A camping hammock suitable for four season use by way of a
    waterproof tarpaulin suspended above and by way of having two arched poles supporting incorporated anti-insect netting and an insulation pocket for cold weather.
