Abstract

The Porta-shuttle is a lightweight portable storage system and coaching aid. Two cylindrical storage units are fixed side by side and carried by an adjustable strap hung over a users shoulder. Shuttlecocks are removed form the bottom of the unit and it is refilled from the top of each cylinder by removing a lid.

Description
Porta-shuttle-The portable shuttlecock coaching aid.
Two cylindrical storage units are fixed side by side, to enable 50 shuttlecocks to be accessible for the coaching of bRdminton. It is a quick way of hand feeding many shuttlecocks quickly from the body, without restricting movement.
The unit is portable with the use of an austable strap which hangs over the shoulder.
The storage feeder hnngs down the back of the user and the shuttlecocks are taken by the non-racket hand from the bottom of the unit. When empty, it is refilled from the top of each cylinder by removing the lid.
The overall dimensions are:-Height 70cm. Width 14cm. Depth 7cm. (depth with base 12cm). Colour is not intended to form any part of the design. Protection is sought to the shape and configuration of the whole product, not to the separate parts of the design. z.

Claims (5)

  1. Shuttlecock Holder Claims Technical features of Porta-shuttle 1.
    Porta-shuttle is a compact storage and feeder unit for up to 50 shuttlecocks.
  2. 2. It is worked manually by the coach pulling shuttles from the base when required to hand or racket feed to a player on court.
  3. 3. It is totally portable and lightweight, being slung from a shoulder strap worn by the coach.
  4. 4. Allows the coach to move around the court during rallying with no obstruction from the shuttlecock feeder.
  5. 5. A coaching aid to facilitate an efficient way of multi feeding.
