Abstract

Footwear that has a magnet in the sole of the footwear that allows the footwear to be detachably attached to each or detachably attached to other metallic objects such as a radiators again to allow the footwear to be stored or for fun. The magnets are partially encased in a threaded plate that is screwed in and out of the sole, allowing the magnets to be offset from where the sole meets the ground so that minimal metallic objects are accidentally picked up when the footwear is being worn, and for the magnetic plate to be positioned level with the sole to allow the shoe to be detachably attached to each other and to metal objects such as radiators and fridges.

Description

Magnetic Soled trainers.
Description
This invention involves a series of magnets incorporated into the sole of a pair of trainers which allows the shoes to be fuse magnetically together, be placed on items such as radiators, fridges and be stored on specially designed shoe rack.
When together, symmetrically, the shoes form an attractive mass easily carried and stored in places like cars and bags.
The magnets sit within a specially shaped and threaded plate which is easily screwed in and out of the centre of the shoe with the aid of a coin. This magnetic plate is positioned further in to the sole of the shoe for when the shoes are being worn. The resulting recess allows any metal debris attracted to magnet, to be collected above where the sole meets the ground, so that walking motion will not be interfered with in any way.
The magnet plate is then screwed out, level with the sole, in order for the shoes to be attached to items such as radiators, fridges and other metal objects. This innovation addresses shoe storage problems which are common in student and family homes.
The plate attaches to the special racwhilst screwed in and the plate can be removed completely for cleaning purposes. "I

Claims (1)

  1. Magnetic Soled trainers. Claim
The shoes have a unique innovation being magnets in each of the soles, in order for the shoes to attach to them selves and other objects, such as radiators and fridges. A removable and adjustable plate contains the magnets.
The threaded plate contains a series of strong magnets which are partially encased in the plate. The plate material is made from a rubber and plastic compound and when screwed to it's desired position, stays in place due to the thread being relatively tight.
The central part of the sole which houses the plate is relatively rigid, and makes up a region of the shoe which acts as the exclusive innovation What is unique about this design is that it allows the shoe to attach specifically to radiators and fridges in order to save floor space, when the plate is level with the outer sole.
When the plate is inset, the shoes can be stores on specially designed metal racks.
