Abstract

A spray gun extension with main shaft 1, clip 7 and cage 5 to hold a spray gun in position. The handles 8 and 3 are to hold the extension. The handle 3 also operates lever 4, via a rod 6, which actuates the trigger of the spray gun.

Description

SPRAY GUN EXTENSION
The invention relates to hand held spray guns for plants and shrubs.
Such Spray Guns are ok. for most people unless you have difficulty in reaching or bending down.
An object of this invention is to provide an alternative to bending or over reaching when using a hand held Spray Gun.
AccordinglY this invention provides a Spray Gun extenSiOfl comprising a main shaft, a fixing bracket and a holding cage for holding a Spray gun, a lever positioned at one end of the main shaft to operate the Spray Gun Trigger. A handle placed at the same end of the main shaft is to be held against the body when in use, and a handle placed at the centre of the main shaft which is held when operating the top lever which allows Spray Gun Trigger Lever to be operated.
The extension can be made of plastic or metal or even a mixture of both materials.
A proffered embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawing in which Figure 1 shows a side view of the whole extension.
As shown in Figure 1 the extension consists of main shaft 1 with handles at one end Element 2 and Element 8 with operating lever Element 3. Element 4 is a Lever which operates Spray Gun trigger. Element 5 and 7 is for holding Spray Gun.
When a Spray Gun is placed in holder Element 5 and attached with clip Element 7. The Lever Element 3 operateS Element 4 Lever as they are attached by Rod Element 6. The movement of Element 4 Lever operates Spray Gun Trigger the spray is then dispersed.

Claims (1)

  1. Claims.
    A Spray Gun extension comprising a main shaft, a fixing bracket and a holding cage for holding a Spray Gun, a Lever positioned at one end of the main shaft to operate the Spray Gun Trigger. A handle placed at the same end of the main shaft is to be held against the body when in use, and a handle placed at the centre of the main shaft which is held when operating top lever which allows Spray Gun Trigger Lever to be operated.
