Abstract

A cooker safety device comprises a bolt 1 designed to secure a saucepan to a cooker, so as to prevent the saucepan from being knocked or pulled over by a child. The device also comprises a clip 4 which can be fitted to a variety of different size saucepans. When the bolt is not in use, there is no obstruction to the cooking area, leaving the cooker as standard. Preferably, the bolt is retained in a sleeve 3 that is attached to the cooker. In use, the saucepan can be moved from side to side, but cannot be tipped over.

Description

These saucepan clips could be made singular sizes to fit most saucepans.
5.Shows saucepan clip with guides for fixing bolt and lug 6.Shows underside of sleeve base with a stop for lug fig 2.
7 Shows fixing holes.
Instructions, Fix appropiate size clip on saucepan, Stand saucepan on cooker with appropiate size hole over sleeve slide cooker bolt through hole in saucepan clip, Then into the sleeve and turn bolt The saucepan can now be moved from side to side, but cannot be tipped over,owirig to the cooker bolt.

Claims (1)

  1. Cooker Safety Bolt Claims I claim that the cooker safety bolt will
    prevent a saucepan from being knocked over or pulled over by a minor.
    The clip fitted to a saucepan can be made to fit three different size saucepans as shown fig 4.
    The clip fig 4 could also be made to fit any saucepan as a single clip.
    When the cooker safety bolt is not in use there is no obstructions to the cooking area leaving the cooker as standard
