Abstract
Adding credit to mobile phones. The normal method involves a minimum payment of five pounds (Ü5) or ten pounds (Ü10) depending on the mobile phone network provider. The invention proposes to provide a service that will enable mobile phone users to add credit of any amount to their mobile phones, payments starting at a penny (Ü0.01).

This invention relates to adding credit to mobile phones. The minimum payment for adding credit to a mobile phone is currently five pounds (£5.00) or ten pounds (£10.00) depending on the mobile phone network provider.
To overcome this, the present invention proposes to provide a service that will enable mobile phone users to add credit of anv amount to their mobile phones. Payments will start at a penny f£0.01>.
This invention can be distributed through different mobile phone network providers Payments to credit a mobile phone can be made by using a mobile phone swipe card or by purchasing a voucher. Payments can be paid for in cash, debit card or credit card.
Mobile phone users will be able to credit their mobile phones with payments of any amount. For example, a payment could be three pence (£0.03) or one pound and ten pence (£1.10) and so on.
This invention will drastically reduce, if not completely remove an unnecessary financial burden now experienced by young people and the not too well off.

Claims (2)
1. The present invention, MINTOP -1, is a service that will enable mobile phone users to add credit of any amount to their mobile phones, with payments starting at a penny (£0.01).
2. The service provided according to claim 1 also introduces the facility to add credit to a mobile phone with a minimum payment of anything less than five pounds (£5.00).
