Abstract

The magic code includes a second design layer 20 on a black substrate 10. In layer 20, a character, numeral or symbol pattern 21 is regularly and repeatedly formed in a colour, such as purple. The character, numeral or symbol patterns corresponding to a prize winning message are deleted. The boundaries of character, numeral or symbol patterns containing the prize winning message 31 are formed in a third design layer 30 in a colour similar to that used in second design layer 20 (purple). Dots in a complementary colour (green) to that of the patterns of the second design layer 20 are formed in a fourth design layer 40 so as to create the prize winning message 41. Dots are formed in a fifth design layer 50 in a colour (purple) similar to that of the patterns of the second design layer 20. These fill the boundaries of a character, numeral or symbol pattern 61 which is regularly and repeatedly formed in a sixth design layer 60 in a colour (green) similar to that of the dots of the fourth design layer. The layers are sequentially stacked one on one another. The code may be used for marketing. It may be implemented on a web or WAP page. A verification plate may be used to read the message.
