Abstract

A set of saucepans and frying pans is stackable, reducing the space required for storage. The pans decrease in size, each of the smaller pans nesting inside one of the larger pans to form a vertical stack. The handles of each pan are shaped to allow the handles to nest together when the pans are stacked together. Preferably the lid of each saucepan is placed inside the saucepan it is nesting in (fig iv) thereby raising the nesting saucepan to ensure the handles fit together when stacked.

The advantages of the system are that it saves space and increases convenience when storing the saucepans which is particularly important in modem kitchens with fitted units where space is limited. This permits the saucepans to be kept together more effectively in a pan drawer The essential aspects of the system are:-a) The shape of the handles which permit them to fit into the next saucepan in the stack.
b) The saucepan lids and their handholds which raise the above saucepan which ensures that the handles then fit together when being stacked.

Claims (1)

  1. A FULLY STACKING SYSTEM OF SAUCEPANS AND FRYING PANS.
    The system ensures that the saucepans/frying pans stack together.
    This is achieved by the shape of the handles which permit them to fit into the next saucepan in the stack.
    The handles on the saucepan lids are so shaped as to raise the next saucepan above thus ensuring that the handles then fit together when the saucepans are being stacked.
