Abstract

A manually operated fruit picking device in which a pair of cup-shaped jaws 4 are opened and closed by the actions of the handle 15. The handle is connected to a rod 5 which is perforated with a series of holes 12. These holes engage with the teeth 3 of a toothed wheel 2 one each of which is connected to the jaws. Each of the jaws is fitted with a collecting net 9. In use, movement of the handle causes the opening of the jaws which may be used to surround the fruit and so pluck it from the tree.

Description

FRUIT COLLECTING DEVICE

The invention relates to an object for collecting a fruit on the tree. The fruit collecting device includes hand motion setting that comprises gear wheels, interior housing part, exterior housing part, collecting hands, etc, as well as, frap sets, istness units, and joy stick, extension rod, etc. When people are thinking how to get a fruit from the tree, an additional hand of collecting is direct touched fruit to avoid a difficulty of the uphill.

People have traditionally used a ladder or climb on the tree to get the fruits, but suffer from the disadvantage that, when they are on the certain level of the tree, it is still difficult to reach the all branches of the tree without specific tools. Most of the times, people may give up the idea of the collection. Furthermore, on uneven ladder or climb there is a risk to fall down. To overcome these problems, the invention proposes a fruit collection tool that is designed to solve such problems.

The object of this invention is to provide a tool that helps people easy to get a fruit from the top or branches of the tree. As a result, people can get fruit more easily, effectively, and safety.

Preferably the fruit collecting device is to be made of metal or plastic material -for example ABS -but it may instead be made of a combination of these materials.

The invention will now be described solely by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: FIGURE 1 is a diagrammatic cross-sectional view of a fruit collecting device representing a first embodiment of the invention, which comprises a gear wheel with collecting hand, interior and exterior housing parts, as well as frap sets, fastness units, joy stick, and extension rod, etc. FIGURE 2 shows a fastness unit and gear wheel is fixed together which forms of a second embodiment of a fruit coLlecting device according to the invention.

FIGURE 3 shows a situation of a gear wheel and interior housing part which forms part of a third embodiment of a fruit collecting device according to the invention and which comprises a motion setting of a metal material.

FIGURE 4 and FIGURE 5 shows how the four single pieces are attached together by the frap sets which forms a part of a fourth embodiment of the invention.

Fig. 1 shows a fruit collecting device I which is designed and constructed for the collecting of fruit on the tree, in particular the fruits on the top or branches of the tree.

The fruit collecting device 1 comprises a hand motion drive 2 which consists of the gear wheels 3 and an also substantially tube-type interior housing part 5, as well as tube-type exterior housing part 6. The exterior housing part 6 are constructed by four pieces of unit Fig. 5 and are connected by two frap sets 7. The gear wheel 3 comprises a substantially projecting handing 4 which is located at the end of gear wheel 3. Two fastness units 8 are fixed on the exterior housing part 6, and connected with a gear wheel 3 by means a screw 13.

The interior housing parts 5 for driving gear wheels means 3 are accommodated in the exterior housing part 6. The hand motion drive 2 comprises a gear and an interior housing part 5 with the holes means 12 by a manner of up and down of the interior housing part 5 by means ajoy stick 10. The hands means 4 on the gears 3 are adducted together by means of the gears wheel movements. A connectable joy stick 10 is connected with interior housing part 5 of the fruit collecting device 1 for supplying the extension means 14, in case of the fruit is located on the higher positions of the tree.

The fruit collecting device 1 is fitted with the collecting net 15. The collecting net 15 can be adducted by the movement of the hand motion drive 2 which avoid the fruit drop off when the movement of the collecting hands 4.

It is noted with reference to the gear wheel 3 and fastness unit 8 shown in Fig.2 and belonging to a hand motion drive 2 which shows a pair of fastness unit 8, one fitted either side of the rear wheel 3 of a hand motion drive 2.In Fig.2, two fastness units 8 connect a screw or metal bar 13, and are fixed to the surface of the exterior housing part 6 by the screws 14. The gear wheel 3 and fastness unit 8 shown in Fig.2 are connected a screw or metal bar 13, the gear wheel 3 can freely rotate about an axis (13).

It is noted with reference to the gear wheel 3 and interior housing part 5 shown in Fig.3 and belonging to a hand motion drive 2 which shows a gear wheel 3 is fitted a hole of interior housing part 5. In Fig.3, when the interior housing part 5 is upwards, then it will bring along the gear wheel 3 downwards. So the hand 4 on the gear wheel 3 will up and down through the interior housing part 5 movements.

The invention is not limited to the embodiments described above. For example, the fruit collecting device may alternatively be used to get a thing that is located on the highly positions.

Claims

A Fruit Collecting Device A fruit collecting device (1) constructed for fruits collection from tree, in particular collecting fruits from a higher or branches of the tree, comprising a hand motion setting (2), comprising gear wheel means (3) for driving a collecting hand (4), and fitted with a collecting hand (4) which can be driven by the gear wheel means (3), which bring along a moveable interior housing part means (5), and a exterior housing part (6) retained by said interior housing part holder (5), characterized in that the gear wheel (3), consists of a collecting hand (4) that is made by metal material which are designed to up and down carried on the post.
2. A fruit collecting device (1) as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the a pair of fastness unit (8), one fitted either side of the rear wheel (3) of a hand motion drive (2). Two fastness units (8) are connected a screw or metal bar (13), and are fixed to the surface of the exterior housing part (6) by the screws (14). The gear wheel (3) and fastness unit (8) are connected a screw or metal bar (13), the gear wheel (3) can freely rotate about an axis (13).
3. A fruit collecting device (1) as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the exterior housing part (6) comprise four pieces of unit (6) can be joined together through which the frap sets (7).
4. A fruit collecting device (I) as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the exterior housing part (6) comprise a fastness unit (8), are designed to connect with gear wheel (3).

A fruit collecting device (1) as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the interior housing part (5) comprise a exterior housing part (6) in that the interior housing part (5) is enveloped by the exterior housing part (6), and in that the interior housing part (5) and exterior housing part (6) are made from a plastic, or metal material.
6. A fruit collecting device (1) as claimed in claim I and 3, characterized in that the gear wheel (3) is made of a metal material.
7. A fruit collecting device (1) as claimed in claim I and 2, characterized in that the frap sets (7) are made of a metal material.
8. A fruit collecting device (1) as claimed in claim 1 and 3, characterized in that the gear wheel (3) comprise a collecting hand (4) which is moveable with gear wheel (3) together that is designed to make contact with the fruit.

A fruit collecting device (1) as claimed in claim I and 7, characterized in that the a gear wheels (3) comprising a collecting hand (4) which is fixed on the fastness unit (8) that attached the exterior housing part (6), characterized in that the eight fastness units (8) support the four gear wheels (3) so that the collecting hands ((4) can be contacted from different positions around the fruit collecting device (1).
10. A fruit collecting device (1) including a collecting net (9) fixed to collecting hand (4) which is designed to hold a fruit that avoiding drop off might be happened.

The collecting net (9) can removable which is alternative used to get another thing on the higher positions.
11. As in Claim I the hand motion setting has the hands thus ensuring an even better attach to the fruit. This means that the fruit can be effectively collected.
12. A fruit collecting device (1) as claimed in claim I and 4, characterized in that the interior housing part (5) has an interior lines (11), which is designed to make an extension (15) in a case of the higher position of the tree.
13. As claimed above the fruit collecting device (1) is to be made from metal, plastic or from a combination of these materials.
