Abstract
Scribes in timber mouldings and skirtings, may be formed by cutting a 30mm length of the item to be scribed, and placing it between combs 6 and slide guide 8 of a scribing device. The slide guide is then pushed to form the shape of the item against the combs, which are then locked in position. The comb assembly is then turned over (fig 8), and the article to be scribed is placed in the device and locked in place by lock plate 10. A cutter 19 is plunged to the required depth using a guide pin 21 which is kept against the combs at all times.

DESCRIPTION
SCRIBERITE
THE INVENTION RELATES TO A DEViCE THAT IS USED TO SCRIBE SKIRTING AND THE DEVICE IS LIGHT AND PORTABLE, AND EASY TO TRANSPORT.
THE TRADNAL WAY TO CUT A SCRIBE IS BY MAKING TWO CUTS, ONE A FORTY-FIVE DEGREE ANGLE AND ThE NEXT BY FOLLOWING THE SCRIBE LINE WITH A COPING SAW.
ThIS WAY IS ONE PREFERRED BY ALL CARPENTERS. ThE PROBLEM WITH This METHOD IS YOU NEED TO BE TRAINED TO DO IT PROPERLY AND IT IS VERY TIME CONSUMING.
ThE OBJECT OF ThIS INVENTION IS TO MAKE SCRIBING EASY FOR THE UNTRAINED AND FASTER FOR ThE PROFESSIONAL
THE SCRIBERITE ONCE SET UP WILL CUT COUNTLESS PERFECT SCRIBE CUTS PERFECTLY
if ALSO WILL DO SCRIBES CUT ON A UNPLUMBED WALL.
ThE DEVICE WILL BE MADE OF TOUGHEND PLASTIC AND SOME METAL ALLOY THE INVENTION WILL NOW BE DESCRED WITh REFERENCE TO THE ACCOMPANYING DRAWINGS.
