244,002. Wynne, E. W., Somerville, F. J., and Anderson, F. June 18, 1925. Dressing; tools.-The block 26 is clamped between jaws 20, 22 on a carriage 16 which is traversed, by means of an endless wire rope 27 and a rotary drum 28, beneath a rotating shaft 5 carrying a number of cutter discs 7, each of which is provided with cutters 8 held by wedges and studs 10. Adjacent discs are arranged on the shaft 5 with the cutters staggered, and the shaft 5 is adjusted vertically by means of screws 12 and hand wheels 15.
