Abstract

A manually movable transport container or roll cage (1, figure 1) has a base (6), casters (7), side walls 2 arranged on the base (6), and shelves 3 detachably arranged on the side walls 2. Each shelf 3 has at least one securing means 5 which is arranged so as to be horizontally rotatable on the shelf 3 and which rests against the shelf 3 when it is not in use. The securing means may comprise a single piece of bent metal wire or sheet (figure 4), or it may be made from plastics. By rotating the securing means against the shelf when not required it is prevented from inadvertently catching on the walls of the container.
