Abstract

The present invention relates to a movable dual-lever controlling mechanism for a tent, enabling the tent to be quickly erected or dismantled. The dual-lever controlling mechanism comprises double movable levers 4, free sliding sleeves 1, dead sliding sleeves 2 and a pivoting hub assembly 5. The free sliding sleeves 1 are fixed at one end of the movable dual-lever mechanism, the handle having a hook 3 is fixed on the opposite end of the levers 4, and the dead sliding sleeves 2 are positioned in the middle of the levers 4. The dead sliding sleeves 2 are pivotally connected to the top hub assembly 51 and the lower side of the free sliding sleeves 1 are connected to a brace in a sliding manner.

Description

<p>MOVABLE DUAL-LEVER CONTROLLING MECHCANISM OF TENT</p>
<p>BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION</p>
<p>1. Field of the Invention</p>
<p>The present invention relates to a tent frame, and more particularly to a movable S dual-lever controlling mechanism of tent.</p>
<p>2. Description of Prior Art</p>
<p>Tent is an essential substance in camping at out side for people, according to the improved requirement on the practicality more and more, the safety and the facility of use have become the basic requirement. In accordance with the quick picthing camping tent in the market so far, the structure of them has a problem existing, such as if the crown braces are opened fully for getting bigger space, but need to effort bigger force with the both hands, and the opened frame will not be stable; on the contrary, if effort smaller force, the crown braces are opened narrower to obtain the smaller space with a stable standing state.</p>

<p>OBJECTS AND SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION</p>
<p>It is therefore a main object of the present invention to provide a movable dual-lever controlling mechanism for camping tent that can be set up in the few seconds with a smaller force to get frilly flared range and stable standing.</p>
<p>For achieving the above-mentioned object, the present invention provides a mov-able dual-lever controlling mechanism of camping tent, which includes sliding sleeves, pivoting hub component and poles hung on said pivoting hub component, also including a movable dual-lever link designed following the principle of levers, a free sliding sleeves fixed on one end of the movable dual-lever link, a handle having a hook fixed I 0 on another end, and a dead sliding sleeves put on the middle portion; meanwhile said dead sliding sleeves is pivoted on said pivoting hub component with the low end; said free sliding sleeves is put on a brace in moving fit. When tending to pitch the tent, said movable dual-lever link can be used as a lever for saving labor in the erect operation so as to stretch the crown poles out frilly to get bigger flared using space. After pitching the tent, said movable dual-lever link can be used as a fixed link on the top to intensify the tent frame for obtaining stable standing.</p>
<p>Said free sliding sleeves has two parallel pipe liners built on the upper portion, and a pipe liner on the low portion; the two levers of said movable dual-lever link are fixed into the inside of the upper parallel pipe liners respectively with one ends, and the low pipe liner is fit over a pole in moving connection; the connection portion of said upper parallel pipe liners appears to a cambered surface forming a holding groove.</p>
<p>Said hook handle has two parallel pipe liners built on the upper portion, and a hook built on the low portion, the two levers of said movable dual-lever fink are fixed into the inside of the upper parallel pipe liners respectively with the front ends, the size of the low hook responds to the pole for hooking.</p>
<p>A stay handle is mounted on the trunk of the pole opposite to the pole mounted with the free sliding sleeves bridging over said pivoting hub component symmetrically.</p>
<p>Said two levers of said movable dual-lever link are elastic levers, the diameter is smaller than the pole's.</p>
<p>Said lever of said movable dual-lever link also can be a single elastic lever, its diameter is smaller than the pole's.</p>
<p>Said free sliding sleeves has a pipe liner built on the upper portion, and a pipe liner built on the low portion; said elastic single lever is fixed on the inside of the upper pipe liner with the tail end, meanwhile the low pipe liner of the free sliding sleeves is fit over the trunk of a pole in moving connection.</p>
<p>Said hook handle has a pipe liner built on the upper portion, and a pipe liner on the low portion; the elastic single lever is fixed on the inside of the upper pipe liner of the hook handle with the front end; the size of the hook responds to the pole for hooking.</p>
<p>As utilizing above-mentioned project, because the movable dual-lever control-ling mechanism is designed following the principle of levers, said dead sliding sleeves is located on the upper pivoting hub component acting as a fulcrum, as tending to erect the tent, just need to pull up the hook handle with one hand, and sideward press down the tent can be erected rapidly to obtain a fully flared using space with a little effort. Af-ter the tent is set up stretching out all the poles fully, continue to press down the hook handle until the hook getting the opposite pole on hooking bridging the upper pivoting hub component for intensifying the flared poles as a fixed link improving the stableness and wind resistance of the tent. For facilitating to folding, the connection portion of said upper parallel pipe liners appears to a cambered surface.</p>

<p>DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS</p>
<p>A movable dual-lever controlling mechanism of tent provided by the present invention, as shown in Fig. Ito Fig. 5, is typically comprised of a free sliding sleeves 1, a dead sliding sleeves 2, a hook handle 3, a pivoting hub component 5 and a movable dual-lever link 4.</p>
<p>Referring to Fig. 4 and Fig. 2, said free sliding sleeves 2 has two parallel pipe liners 21 built on the upper portion, and a low pipe liner 12 on the low portion, and a cambered surface connection portion connecting the both parallel pipe liners to form a holding groove 13; the two levers of said movable dual-lever link 4 are fixed into the insides of said upper parallel pipe liners 21 respectively with the tail ends, and the low pipe liner 12 of the free sliding sleeves is fit over the trunk of a pole 6 in moving con-nection. A stay handle 7 is mounted on the trunk of the pole 6 opposite to the pole 6 mounted with the free sliding sleeves bridging over said pivoting hub component sym-metrically.</p>
<p>Referring to Fig. 5 and Fig. 2, said hook handle 3 has two parallel pipe liners 31 built on the upper portion, and a hook 32 built on the low portion, so that the two levers of said movable dual-lever link 4 are fixed into the inside of the upper parallel pipe lin-ers 31 respectively with the front ends, the size of the low hook 32 responds to the pole 6 for hooking.</p>
<p>Referring to Fig. I and Fig. 2, said movable dual-lever link 4 fitting through said dead sliding sleeves 2 in moving connection connects to said free sliding sleeves 1 and said hook handle 3 with the both ends respectively. Said dead sliding sleeves 2 is piv- oted on the upper hub 51 of the pivoting hub component with the low end in free rotat-ing.</p>
<p>Referring to Fig. I and Fig. 2, said pivoting hub component 5 is consisted of an upper pivoting hub 51, a middle pivoting hub 52, a low pivoting hub 57, a set of locat-ing pieces 53, a set of supporting pieces 54, a set of short pole 55, a king-rod 56 and a set of pole 58. Pole 6 is fixed into the inside of the locating piece 53 with the top end.</p>
<p>Said short pole 55 is connected to the locating piece 53 and the middle pivoting hub 52 with the both ends respectively for aiming to guide the kingrod 56 insert into the inside of the low pivoting hub 57 accurately and smoothly. The supporting piece 54 is mounted on the trunk of the pole 6, and pivots with the pole 58 with the low end, meanwhile the another end of the pole 58 is pivoted on the low pivoting hub 57.</p>
<p>Referring to Fig. I and Fig. 2, as tending to erect the tent, just need to pull up the hook handle 3 with one hand, and sideward press down to bring said movable dual-lever link 4 to slide along the pole, because the dead sliding sleeves 2 is pivoted on the pivoting hub 51 with the low end acting as a fulcrum, the tent can be pitched rapidly, meanwhile the king-rod 56 accurately insert into the low pivoting hub 57. After the tent is erected stretching out all the poles fully, the handle 3 should be hooked on to the stay handle 7, in order to improve the stableness and wind resistance of the tent.</p>
<p>Due to the moving connection between the free sliding sleeve 1 and the pole 6, and between the movable dual-lever link 4 and the dead sliding sleeve 2, so the movable dual-lever link 4 can be drew out as pitching, or pushed back at inside as folding.</p>
<p>Referring to Fig. 1 and Fig. 3, as tending to fold the tent, firstly, release the hook handle 3 from the hooking with the stay handle 7, furl the pole 6 toward inside, can be retracted on the center around the king-rod 56, and meanwhile the low braces 8 next to the pole 6 can be folded up to bend into, because of free sliding sleeve I has the hold-ing groove 13 for getting smaller folded volume compactly.</p>
<p>For reinforcing the intention of the movable dual-lever link, the two elastic lev-ers are used; its diameter is smaller than the pole's for facilitating to distort the elastic lever to match to the crown poles of the tent as stretching the tent.</p>
<p>In the present invention, said movable dual-lever link 4 also can be used with a single elastic lever for suiting to smaller tents.</p>
<p>The movable dual-lever controlling mechanism of tent provided by the present invention has following features: rational design, easy manufacturing, and suiting to mass production, convenient use, and good industrial practicality.</p>

Claims (1)

  1. <p>I Claim: 1. A movable dual-lever controlling mechanism of tent
    including sliding sleeves, pivot-ing hub component and braces hung on said pivoting hub component, also including a movable dual-lever link designed following the principle of levers, a free sliding sleeve fixed on one end of the dual-lever link, a handle having a hook fixed on an-other end, and a dead sliding bush put on the middle portion; meanwhile said dead sliding sleeve is pivoted on said pivoting hub component with the low end; said free sliding sleeve is put on a pole in moving fit.</p>
    <p>2. A movable dual-lever controlling mechanism of tent as claimed in claim I, wherein said two levers of said movable dual-lever link are elastic levers, the diameter is smaller than the pole's.</p>

A movable dual-lever controlling mechanism of tent as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2, wherein said free sliding sleeve has two parallel pipe liners built on the upper por-tion, and a pipe liner on the low portion; the two levers of said movable dual-lever link are fixed into the inside of the upper parallel pipe liners respectively with one ends, and the low pipe liner is fit over a pole in moving connection; the connection portion of said upper parallel pipe liners appears to a cambered surface forming a holding groove.</p>

A movable dual-lever controlling mechanism of tent as claimed in claim I or claim 2, wherein said hook handle has two parallel pipe liners built on the upper portion, and a hook built on the low portion, the two levers of said movable dual-lever link are fixed into the inside of the upper parallel pipe liners respectively with the front ends, the size of the low hook responds to the pole for hooking.</p>
    <p>5. A movable dual-lever controlling mechanism of tent as claimed in claim 1 or claim 3, wherein a stay handle is mounted on the trunk of the pole opposite to the pole mounted with the free sliding sleeve bridging over said pivoting hub component symmetrically.</p>
    <p>6. A movable dual-lever controlling mechanism of tent as claimed in claim 1, wherein said lever of said movable dual-lever link also can be a single elastic lever, its di-ameter is smaller than the pole's.</p>
    <p>7. A movable dual-lever controlling mechanism of tent as claimed in claim 1 or claim 6, wherein said free sliding sleeve has a pipe liner built on the upper portion, and a pipe liner built on the low portion; said elastic single lever is fixed on the inside of the upper pipe liner with the tail end, meanwhile the low pipe liner of the free slid-ing sleeve is fit over the trunk of a pole in moving connection.</p>
    <p>8. A movable dual-lever controlling mechanism of tent as claimed in claim 1 or claim 6, wherein said hook handle has a pipe liner built on the upper portion, and a pipe S liner on the low portion; the elastic single lever is fixed on the inside of the upper pipe liner of the hook handle with the front end; the size of the hook responds to the pole for hooking.</p>
    <p>9. A movable dual-lever controlling mechanism of tent as claimed in claim 7, wherein a stay handle is mounted on the trunk of the pole opposite to the pole mounted with the free sliding sleeve bridging over said pivoting hub component symmetrically.</p>
