Abstract

A public address system includes an audio signal transmitter (10) for transmitting an audio signal by connecting an earth terminal (c) of a plug (10a) of the audio signal transmitter to an earth terminal (c) of a first connector (30) of a plurality of connectors of a power grid. The audio signal is transmitted by a carrier frequency that carries the audio signal. The public address system also includes an audio signal receiver (12) for receiving the carrier frequency carrying the audio signal by connecting an earth terminal (c1) of a plug (20A) of the audio signal receiver to an earth terminal (c) of a second connector (30) of the plurality of connectors.
