A plurality of boxes each have at least one channel at a corner. A connector piece engages channels of adjacent boxes to join the boxes together.

Description

<p>SPECIFICATION for a BLOCK/CONTAINER LINKING STRUCTURE METHOD" The
"Block/Container Linking Structure Method" it is a linkage system that allows two or more container shapes e.g. cube shape container (see diagram-I), to be linked with another similar shape or any other shape container e.g. rectangular or triangular, using a specially design link that will slide between the two containers using their specially design corners that allows the link to lodge and secure the two shapes together. The number of containers that can be linked is infinite, and two shapes or more can also be linked vertically as well as horizontally to form a group of different shape containers. The material used for these containers can be mainly plastic and in different colours and textures, but they can also be made out of acrylic, clear or frosted, compressed paper, wood, ceramic etc. The connectors can also be made from the same materials.</p>
<p>The containers can be of various sizes so they can be used for different functions. For example a set of containers 1 Ocm-W by 10cm-H can be used as a collection of desk tidy set. But a set of containers 3Ocm-W by 30cm-H can be used as flower pots, or in the boot of a car as a tidy-set. A smaller version that 10cm can be made also to form a set of blocks for children to put together to form different structures and shapes. Also the 10cm version can be turn sideways to be used as wine storage unit. The uniqueness of this * *. system is its method of linking the different shape containers together via the different :.. lengths of connectors. Other uses could be storing children's toys, books, bathroom S products, e.g. shampoos etc. cosmetics, kitchen products like tins, utensils or anything * else in the house, the car or the garden.</p>
<p>* ** The uniqueness of the invention is the shape of the link-piece and the shape of the corner :.. of each container that it slots in to form a link between two pieces.</p>

<p>Description of diagrams:</p>
<p>Diagram-I shows a "Top view of two cube containers being linked by a connector" Diagram-2 shows a "Connector piece" (Top-side view).</p>
<p>Diagram-3 shows a "Top-side view" of a section of a container. The dimensions can be approximately, 1 Ocm(H), 1 Ocm(W), 1 Ocm(L) external. The thickness of all the walls could possibly be 4 or 5 mm.</p>
<p>Diagram-4 shows a possible combination of how a number of tnangular shape containers can be linked together. The possible fonnations can be infinite and is down to an individual's needs or imagination. What is important is the way the pieces are joint together by using the way their corners are cut and sliding the specially shaped connectors.</p>

Claims (2)

  1. <p>CLAIMS</p>
    <p>I. A "Box/Container Linking Structure Method" means the way any shape container with the specified channelled cut corners, can be attached to one or more containers using a joiner connector piece.</p>
    <p>2 A "Box/Container Linking Structure Method" according to claim 1, in which a connector means a cross shaped rod by which any two or more containers/boxes can be linked together to form a chain of containers/boxes in different formations and combinations.</p>
    <p>3 A "Box/Container Linking Structure Method" according to claim 1, in which a box/container piece can be of any shape straight or otherwise as long as the corners of these shapes are the opposite mirror image of the connector piece according to claim

    <p>They also can be of various lengths, colours or materials, with the inner surface of the channel being jagged thus also increasing the friction between the box and the connector when the connector is inserted into the box's channelled corners.</p>
    <p>4. A "Box/Container Linking Structure Method" according to claim 1, in which a connector piece can be of a straight line shaped cross or a rounded shaped curved cross of various lengths, colours or material, with jagged surface to increase friction thus making the link more secure i.e. less likely to slip away from the channelled corners of each container which will also have jagged surfaces.</p>
    <p>5. A "Box/Container Linking Structure Method" according to claim 1, in which the linking of two pieces can be either horizontal or vertical, i.e. two or more pieces can be linked with one another by placing them one next to each other or one on top of the other.</p>
