Abstract
A paint roller cleaner includes an open ended container 1 fitted with a water sprayer 2. A paint roller 4 is inserted into the container 1 and water sprayed against it. The paint roller 4 is caused to spin and shed its paint. Water is delivered to the water sprayer 2 via a hose 3. The open ended container 1 may include end covers.

<p>PAINT ROLLER CLEANER</p>
<p>The invention relates to an open ended container fitted with a water sprayer into which may be placed a paint roller for cleaning.</p>
<p>Paint rollers are notoriously difficult to clean quickly without making a mess.</p>
<p>An object of this invention is to allow water to be sprayed onto the paint roller causing the roller to spin within the confines of the container thus cleaning the roller thoroughly, quickly and without getting paint everywhere.</p>
<p>Accordingly, this invention provides a container that has a water sprayer fitted so that water can be sprayed onto the paint roller whilst it is in the confines of the container.</p>
<p>A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1 shows a general view of the container incorporating the water sprayer and the paint roller therein. It also shows the hose attached to the water sprayer.</p>
<p>Figure 2 shows a cross section of the container across A-A in figure 1 which shows the relationship between the water sprayer and the paint roller.</p>
<p>As shown in Figure 1 the container 1 is fitted with a water sprayer 2 onto which is attached a hose 3. The paint roller 4 is inserted into the container 1 as shown.</p>
<p>As shown in Figure 2 the water sprayer 2 is positioned in such a manner as to cause the paint roller 4 to spin.</p>
Claims (1)
- <p>CLAIMS</p><p>1. A paint roller cleaner including a container with water sprayer fitted so that a paint roller may be inserted for cleaning.</p><p>2. A paint roller cleaner as claimed in claim 1 which is made from metal, plastics, material or wood or from a combination of these materials.</p><p>3. A paint roller cleaner substantially as herein described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings.</p>
