Abstract

243,509. Bullen, S. C. Nov. 7. 1924. Cylinders, hollow.-The condensate is removed from a steam-heated drying cylinder by one or more spiral passages A having one or more convolutions and formed with, or secured to, the end of the cylinder. Spiral passages may be provided at each end of the cylinder and arranged so that the cylinder mav be rotated in opposite directions.
