Abstract

A child's bib with releasable fastening means attached to the inside of the bib at the bottom, on the inside of the bib, these fastening means are releasable fastened to opposing fastening means attached to the fray of a child's high chair. The bib forms a canopy between the child and the child's chair thereby preventing food from falling down onto the child's lap, the seat of the high chair or the floor. The fastening means are Velcro (RTM).

<p>Background</p>

<p>This invention relates to a children's bib with Velcr9fastenings sewn in to the bottom of the bib.</p>

<p>The part of the Velcrgnot sewn into the bib is stuck on to the cl tray of the high chair. The bib then attaches to the tray using the piece of Velcro.swn into the bib.</p>

<p>This creates a canopy' between the child and the high chair to catch dribbles and food.</p>

<p>Statement of Invention:</p>

<p>An improvement to the existing bib as it has Velcrqfastenings which attach to the tray of a high chair.</p>

<p>Advantages 1. Prevents mess on child's clothing/high chair/seat/floor 2. Helps parent's to leave their child to feed themselves without worrying about food going all over the place.</p>

<p>3. Cuts down on washing -no need to cover child with a dishdoth or other doth 4. More effective in training children to eat themselves than existing bibs as mess is minimised</p>

<p>Detailed Description (T</p>

<p>A child's bib with Velcrattachments sewn on to the inside bottqm of the bib. aowing the bib to be stuck on to the tray of a child's high chair. VelcrIM elements, i.e. the hooks' and the eyes'. Part I Figure 2 shows Part I of the Velcrthe eyes. This is the part that is sewpn to the bib on the inside at the bottom. Figure 2 also shows Part 2 of the Velcr the hooks. This is the part that is attached to the tray of the child's high chair as it has a sticky back. (-T)</p>

<p>When the bib is used for feeding in the high chair, Part I of the Ve(croA(the part that is sewn in to the bib) attaches to Part 2 (the part that has now been stuck to the tray of the high chair and creates a canopy between the chad and the tray.
