Abstract

The invention relates to a cement formulation for use in the manufacture of concrete, said formulation comprising: a) cement; b) calcium carbonate (limestone; and c) ground granulated blast furnace slag. The novel formulation is extremely cost effective and, surprisingly, has been found to give very good strength characteristics.
