Abstract

Newspaper is rolled around an outer tube to form a cylinder, the end of the newspaper is folded over to form a closed end. This casing is filled with waste material e.g. newspaper, cardboard, wood chippings, sawdust, dry leaves, twigs, crisp packets, cardboard, tea-bags and shredded junk mail to a fill-level. The material is compacted using the inner tube. The log is ejected from the device and the end is sealed.

Description

DESCRIPTION

Title: House and garden Waste Log maker Background: A percentage of house and garden waste is burnable but is not in a convenient shape or compactness to burn conveniently on open fires or in stoves, this device creates a convenient shaped burnable Log with any waste.

Essential Features: A device which creates a technique for compressing and encasing burnable waste using a created paper casing.

Introduction to Drawings

Diagram I features both inner and outer tubes and their markings.

Diagram 2 illustrates the types of newspapers used for the casings Diagram 3 & 4 illustrates the laying and rolling of the newspaper around the outer tube Diagram 5 and 6 illustrate the insertion of the protruding paper end into the tube Diagram 7 illustrates the compression of the end eLeu'4 Diagram 8 and 9 the insertion of any waste and compression until the,ill level is reached Diagram 10 & Ii the ejection of the log' Diagram 12 & 13 illustrate two methods of sealing the end of the log'

Claims (1)

 1.
CLAIMS

Title: House and garden waste Log' maker This invention is a device and manufacturing technique which will compress and encase burnable house and garden waste into Logs' thereby reducing fuel costs, contributing to reducing waste disposal and domestic waste management and conservation in reducing woodland and tree supplies and felling for fires, stoves etc. The invention comprises an outer tube and inner compression tube suitably marked and of the correct dimensions to enable newspaper sheets to be used as the casings for the logs.

No additional, material is required other than domestic waste, nor wetting and the Logs' can be made in minutes for immediate burning.
