Abstract

A screwdriver comprises a body 5, neck 2 and tip 1. Two lights 3, preferably LEDs, are provided at one end of the body, either side of the neck of the screwdriver. A further light 6 is provided at the other end of the body.

Description

Screwdriver with light at top end to view screws when fitting & removing &
light at bottom end of handle.
This invention relates to a screwdriver with (Led's) inserted into the top end of the body & light at the bottom of the handle; When work men are working sometimes the light around is not enough to view the screws they are fitting or removing. The work men may be working in a confined space & need extra light to hand.
To overcome this problem, the present invention proposes a screwdriver with lights inserted in the top end of the body & at the end of the handle (body).
This will help the workmen when removing & fitting screws in the dark & give them one hand free.
This light will be powered by battery, there will be a switch on the "Body" of the screwdriver to switch the lights on or off.

An example of the invention will now be discribed by refering to the accompanying drawing.
Figure (1) This is the tip of the screwdriver, this will be made in different sizes or will be removable using standard screwdriver (Tips).
Figure (2) Shows the neck of the screwdriver this will be available in different lengths & thickness to match the size of the screwdriver.
Figure (3) L.E.D light inserted into the top end of the body either side of the neck.

Figure (4) Body of screwdriver available in different sizes.
Figure (5) Switch to turn Led's lights on or off & also to turn on or off the light at the end of the screwdriver.
Figure (6) This will be a larger light to give more light & also when remove will reveal the access for fitting & removing battery. This will be provided with a protective cap to stop damage to glass.

  1. A screwdriver with light at the top end either side of neck & light at the bottom end of the body this tool can be used to remove & fit screw in the dark & can also be used as a tourch. a
