Abstract

A basin/sink/toilet/bidet with spiral contours on the interior surface of the basin/sink/toilet/bidet that spiral towards the drain; the contours increase the velocity of the draining water to allow the water and waste to be removed from the basin/sink/toilet/bidet more effectively.

Description

Self cleansing basin, sink, toilet, and bidet The invention is a basin,
sink, toilet, and bidet with any raised or sunken spiralling contours.
This design feature allows for speedy removal of waste material and water from the sanitary units.
After using a sanitary unit, waste material is often left on the surface of the unit.
The spiral shaped contours of the self cleansing unit help water move more quickly and so remove waste material and water more effectively.
The normal action of water when draining is to rotate clockwise in the northern hemisphere, or counter clockwise in the southern hemisphere. The spiralling contours of the unit allow the water to spiral more quickly, gain speed, and exit the basin with more force. This results in less waste being left in the unit.
An example of the invention can now be viewed in the attached drawing: Note: units for use in the southern hemisphere are exactly the same but have counter-clockwise spiral contours.
Figure 1 shows an internal view of a toilet pan.
Figure 2 shows an internal view of a basin.
Figure 3 shows an internal view of a bidet.
Figure 4 shows an internal view of a sink.
The spiral shape is manufactured into the unit. The spiral shape is made by having sunken or raised sections on the interior surface of the basin, sink, toilet, or bidet. These contours form a spiral towards the drain of the unit.

Claims (7)

  1. Claims I. Any contours forming any type of spiralling on the interior
surface of the basin, sink, toilet, or bidet.
  2. 2. Any contours forming any curved line proceeding downwards on the surface of the interior of a basin, sink, toilet, or bidet.
  3. 3. Any contours forming any curved line proceeding upwards on the surface of the interior of a basin, sink, toilet, or bidet.
  4. 4. Any unit with curves or spirals as in claims 1, 2, or 3 which have the effect of increasing the velocity of the draining water.
  5. 5. Any unit with curves or spirals as in claims 1, 2, or 3 which have the effect of increasing the velocity of the draining water for the purpose of removing waste from the unit.
  6. 6. Any unit with curves or spirals as in claims I, 2, or 3 which have the effect of increasing the velocity of the draining water for the purpose of removing the water more quickly.
  7. 7. Any unit with curves or spirals as in claims 1, 2, or 3 which have the effect of increasing the velocity of the draining water for the purpose of scouring the surface of the interior of the unit.
