Kinematograph apparatus. - In gates comprising two frames mounted so that the film may be inserted laterally between them, one of the frames c is attached to the body of the apparatus, the other frame a is rigidly secured to the frame c, and a spring-pressed frame b is provided between them, the edges b<1> of the frame b which face the direction of insertion being bent over to facilitate insertion. Blade springs f above and below the orifices in the frames are fixed centrally to the frame a, and their free ends act upon the frame b through studs p. An aperture plate d, held by guide ways forming part of the frame c, is adjustable vertically by a rack and pinion to adjust the framing of the picture.
