Abstract
The barrier is moulded or carved onto a plant stand 2, food bowl protector or pot plant protector. The barrier is in the form of a lip 1 into which an appropriate repellent is deposited.
Description
Mo-Stand Plant & Food Protector, Mo-Bowl Food Protector and Mo-Pot Plant
Protector This invention relates to a Mo-Stand Plant & Food Protector, MoBowl Food Protector and Mo-Pot Plant Protector.
A major problem to healthy outdoor pot plants and leaving food in the garden (especially pet food) is crawling insects, slugs and snails.
According to the present invention there is provided a Mo-Stand Plant & Food Protector, Mo-Bowl Food Protector and Mo-Pot Plant Protector comprising either a Stand, Bowl or Pot manufactured using any suitable material which enables the moulding or carving of an outside lip into which any form of crawling insect, slug or snail repellent may be deposited.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which:- Figure 1 shows in perspective a Mo-Stand Plant & Food Protector, upon which a Pot Plant or Food Bowl may be placed; Figure 2 shows in perspective a Mo-Bowl Food Protector, into which food may be placed; Figure 3 shows in perspective a Mo-Pot Plant Protector, in which a Pot Plant may be grown; Figures 4, 5 & 6 illustrate the repellent being deposited into the lip of the Mo-Stand Pot & Plant Protector, Mo-Bowl Food Protector and Mo-Pot Plant Protector Respectively; Figures 7, 7a, 8 & 9 illustrate the crawling insect, slug or snail being unwilling to cross over the lip which contains the insect, slug or snail repellent.
Referring to the drawings, the Mo-Stand Plant & Food Protector 2, the MoBowl Food Protector 3 and the Mo-Pot Plant Protector 4 each comprise a lip I around the outside, as shown in figures l,2&3.
The repellent S is deposited into the lip of the Mo-Stand Plant & Food Protector, the Mo-Bowl food Protector and the Mo-Pot Plant Protector as shown in figures 4, 5 & 6.
T crawliiig insect 6, slug 7 or snail 8 will not cross the repellent in the Mo-Stand Plant & Food Protector to crawl up the bowl 12 to get to the Food II, or crawl up the pot 10 to get to the plant as shown in figures 7, & 7a.
The crawling insect, slug or snail will not cross the repellent in the MoBowl Food Protector to get to the Food or the Mo-Pot Plant Protector to get to the Plant, as shown in figures 8 & 9.
Claims (2)
- A Mo-Stand Plant & Food Protector, Mo-Bowl Food Protector and Mo-Pot Plant Protector comprising either a Stand, Bowl or Pot manufactured using any suitable material which enables the moulding or carving of an outside lip into which any form of crawling insect, slug or snail repellent may be deposited.
- 2 A Mo-Bowl Food Protector substantially as described herein with reference to figures 1-3 of the accompanying drawings.2 A Mo-Stand Plant & Food Protector, Mo-Bowl Food Protector and Mo-Pot Plant Protector substantially as described herein with reference to figures 1-9 of the accompanying drawing.Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows:I A Mo-Bowl Food Protector comprising a Bowl manufactured using any suitable material which enables the moulding or carving of an outside lip into which any form of crawling insect, slug or snail repellent may be deposited.
