Abstract
An articulated figure comprises a motor attached to flexible tubing. A number of tubes may be joined together using brackets. Each motor is connected to a switchboard with an on/off switch for each motor. The motors are driven by batteries and protected by shock absorbing materials.
Description
I
Robosapie worm This invention relates to a robotic worm used for entertainment or science Other robots are built to do task but they are built to do particular movements To over come this, the present invention proposes a number of electrical motors connected by flexible tubing and controlled by a switch board.
Having the motors joined by flexible bending tube gives the invention a unique and random movement.
Preferably, the invention will have many different designs using different types of tube.
Preferably, the invention will have LED,s and sound.
Preferably, the invention will be radio controlled Preferably, the invention will be built in sections so it can clip together in various ways.
Preferably the invention will be powered by batteries.
An example of the invention will now be described by referring to the accompanying drawings: - Figure 1 shows the part of the invention that moves and the control box.
In figure 1, a switchboard I is connected by wires 2 to control the direction of the motors 3 then connected to the motor is a piece of tube metal 4 so the flexible tube 5 can be connected at both ends of the motor. This is all powered by electricity 6 on the switchboard are on off on switches 7 these control the direction of the motors the motors are protected by some sort of shock absorbing material 8 When the switches are activated the tubes fling around and twist and turn making very interesting unique movements.
Claims (3)
- Claims 1. A mechanism that that twists turns and flips around using motorsattached to flexible tubing powered by electricity.
- 2. A mechanism according to claim 1, in which at least 3 motors are connected together by various types of flexible tubing.
- 3. A mechanism according to claim 2, in which the motors are connected to a on off on switches to control the direction of the motors.
