Abstract

An inflatable mattress has an opening in which there are three inflatable telescoping cylindrical inserts. The mattress enables a pregnant woman to sleep safely and comfortably on her front. The inserts can be inflated, deflated or removed depending on the stage of pregnancy and the size of the baby.

Comfort Mattress This invention relates to, and is designed for woman in their stages of pregnancy.
Safety and comfort are a main concern at this time. They will be able to ensure a safe and comfortable nights sleep as the invention enables them to sleep on their fronts.
In pregnancy a baby moves around a great deal causing pains and discomfort of many kinds. Being able to lay on the mattress front down will enable the weight to drop. It will minimize or take away pains and pressures from ones back and other parts of the body without causing danger or strain to the mother and baby.
The gravity of weight being safely carried downward will take pressures away from Certain parts of the body, helping to relax many areas. The baby will benefit this comfort.
The mattress will be made of a breathable fabric and filled with air from a basic air bump. Above the middle of the mattress will be a large hole consisting of 3 different Size cylinders.
Figure 1 Shows 3 different size cylinders with separate air holes so to inflate or deflate depending on stages of pregnancy.
Figure 2 Shows how all 1,2, and 3 cylinders can be removed to accommodate the required space needed for the baby to comfortably grow.
Figure 3 Shows that when the mattress is reversed the back will have a complete layer of the fabric, so can be used as a spare mattress in the household.

Claims (1)

  1. Claims A portable air mattress which contains a cylinder based hole with a
    bottom.
    Within this cylinder hole is placed 3 separate smaller cylinders.
    Each separate smaller cylinder is smaller than its preceding one.
    Each separate smaller cylinder is self inflatable.
    The 3 separate smaller cylinders when removed from the cylinder based hole in the portable air mattress Will form an extended telescope shape if placed one inside the other.
