Abstract
A mat fitted with motorised rotating brushes which are cleaned by contacting the surface of a reservoir of antiseptic chemical liquid detergent. The brushes are mounted on shafts which are oriented in a substantially horizontal axis and which are driven by an electric motor connected with drive belts. The cleaning fluid tank is fitted with a screwed cover plug which allows for the liquid to be replaced. The device may be automated by the use of a photo-electric cell.
