Abstract

A joint for sheets or panels comprises an "I" shaped connector for joining adjacent sheets or panels at an edge. The connector may be manufactured from rubber. The joint may be used in shelving systems.

Description

Jointing System For All Types of Shelving
Description:
The product is to b used by professional contractors and DIY enthusiasts.
The product will provide a strong bond and clean finish to all types of shelving.
Its solves the problem created when shelving is cut to length, leaving exposed unfinished edges on chipboard, MDF and all other man made materials.
The Drawings (Fig I to Fig 5) show the various types of applications. The product should be manufactured from a hardwearing rubber, so that it can be adapted to suit any discrepancies in the material being used.
The product will also be manufactured in a variety of colours to suit all types of shelving currently available on the market.

  1. Claim I The product is a semi-rigid sleave that protects the edge of
    boards an also acts as a jointing system for two separate panels whilst providing a neat finish.
