Abstract

A mobile phone hanging ornament or wrist strap 3 comprises a radiation or magnetic emission protection device 2 and is attached to a mobile phone via a cord 1. This provides protection form the harmful effects of mobile phone radiation.

Description

DESCRIPTION
Mobile Phone Radiation/Magnetic Emission Protection Strap/Ornament The invention relates to a mobile phone Radiation/Magnetic Emissions Protection Strap/Ornament specifically designed to reduce the harmful effects of mobile phone radiation.
The particular fear over mobile phone radiation/magnetic emission effects, both over the short and long term, encouraged this invention and can be reduced by combining this radiation/magnetic emissions protection device within the housing of the wrist strap/hanging ornament so as to ensure constant protection for the user.
It has been widely reported that the radiation/magnetic emissions from mobile phones are harmful to the user and currently it is possible to obtain radiation/magnetic emissions protection products that are adhesive and therefore stuck to the housing of the mobile phone.
Our invention incorporates a mobile phone radiation/magnetic emissions protection device moulded within a wrist strap/hanging ornament. The existing form of attachment for the device is not suitable due to the temporary success of the adhesive which allows for the device to be dislodged during general use of the mobile phone. The mobile phone radiation/magnetic emissions protection device offers indefinite protection and therefore by housing the device within the strap/ornament provides a secure attachment to the mobile phone.
The Radiation/Magnetic Emissions Protection Strap/Ornament would be attached to the mobile phone via a suitably strong thin chord which is looped through an available aperture (available on almost all mobile phones). The chord would be of sufficient length only to connect the wrist strap/hanging ornament to the mobile phone, therefore ensuring close proximity of the device to the mobile phone. This ensures constant protection for the user. The design of the invention can ensure close contact with the phone when in use.
The Radiation/Magnetic Emissions Protection Strap/Ornament can be of various designs suiting all mobile phone users providing them with the ability to personalise their phone ensuring secured protection as a result.
The product consists of three key elements as follows: 1. A strong thin chord which allows connection of the strap to the mobile phone 2. Radiation/magnetic emission protection device 3. Wrist strap/hanging ornament All three are attached together to complete the product.
A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1 Clearly shows a mobile phone with (I) a strong thin chord, (2) radiation/magnetic emission protection device (an example of available product) alongside and a (3) wrist strap/hanging ornament.
As shown within Figure 1 it is clearly illustrated how the wrist strap/hanging ornament is attached to the mobile phone by the strong thin chord.
It is also clear from Figure 1 that the radiation/magnetic emission protection device can be housed within the strap/ornament.
Figure 2 Shows the three components assembled and attached to the mobile phone.

Claims (2)

1. By housing a device which protects against the harmful effects of the mobile phone within a wrist strap/hanging ornament you provide a secure and enhanced means of attachment to the mobile phone
2. By incorporating the protective device within a flishionable/trendy wrist strap/hanging ornament usage would be encouraged
