Abstract
A non-stick container seal consisting of a thin slot means 2, on top surface of container 3, and an inner seal means 4, in which the residue of container that remains on lid is scooped back into the container by the pulling effect of the user 1 could be used for instance on a yoghurt pot. An outer seal may be provided; a consumer pulls the thumb end 5 of the inner seal 4 after opening the outer seal.
Description
Page 1 Title: Non-Stick Seal For Viscous Fluids Backliround: This
invention relates to a non-stick seal for packaging containers. Packaging containers used for most viscous fluids (e.g. yoghurt) are usually provided with a main seal or lid attachment to cover content of the container.
When product is open for consumption or use, residue of product sticks to the lid/sea! and makes a muddle of the product, thereby reducing packaging presentation of product.
Once product is opened, consumer tends to do one of the following with the content on lid: * Lick the product on seal (for edible products e.g. yoghurt) * Scoop residue with spoon or fingers back into the container * Throw away residue on lid.
Statement of Invention.
To overcome this, the present invention proposes a thin slot around the top surface of a container and an inner seal that fits into this slot. As consumer opens package or container, the inner seal is pulled together with the outer seal and the residue on seal is scrapped back into the container.
Page 2 Advanta2es By pulling the thumb end on the inner seal through the slot residue of the product on an inner seal (directly underneath the outer seal) is scooped back directly and instantly into the container.
Preferably, the inner seal could be used as an advert medium for the promotion of other products.

Introduction to Drawin2
An example of the invention will now be described by referring to the accompanying drawings: u Figure 1 shows a plan view of a thin slot around the top surface of a container and an inner seal covering the content of the container.
u Figure 2 shows the inner seal.
o Figure 3 shows the thin slot on the top surface of the container Page 4
Detailed Description.
A thin slot 2 is made around the top surface of the container 3 The narrowness of this slot is the same as the thickness of the inner seal 4. The thin slot design could be incorporated into the either of the following shape: Round, Square or Triangle. The top surface of the container 3 is designed to be wide enough to accommodate the narrowness of the thin slot.
The inner seal, with a diameter that is the same the inner wall of the container 6, consist of a thumb end 5 which is slipped through the thin slot 4 and positioned in- between the outer seal (outer seal not included in diagram) and the content of the container. The main part of the inner seal 4 covers the content of the container and is the only part of the seal that may come in contact with the content of container.
The consumer 1 pulls the thumb end 5 of the inner seal after opening the outer seal, and the residue of product that is bond to the main part of the inner seal 4 is scooped back into the container as the inner seal is pulled through the thin slot 2.
