The present invention relates to a support bracket and, more particularly, to a support bracket for a camera housing system.
A conventional support bracket for a camera housing system comprises a support arm attached to a wall, a connecting seat mounted on the support arm, and a fixing seat pivotally mounted on the connecting seat for supporting a camera. 1-lowever, the fixing seat is not combined with the connecting seat closely. In addition, the electric wire of the camera is exposed outward from the support bracket, thereby decreasing the aesthetic quality of the support bracket.
In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a support bracket, comprising a support arm, a connecting seat, a fixing seat, and a toothed disk. The support arm includes a transverse strut having a first end formed with a tixing plate, and a pivot seat mounted on a second end of the transverse strut, the pivot seat of the support arm has an inside formed with a receiving chamber connected to an inside of the transverse strut. The connecting seat has a mediate portion provided with an outwardly extending flange and has an inside formed with a passage, the connecting seat has an upper portion provided with a toothed first lug and a second lug, the connecting seat has a lower portion formed with an opening facing the inside of the transverse strut. The fixing seat has an upper portion provided with a fixing plate and a lower portion provided with a mounting base, the mounting base of the fixing seat has a first side wall and a second side wall. The toothed disk is mounted on the first side wall of the mounting base and engaged with the first lug of the connecting seat.
The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a support bracket for a camera housing system, wherein the toothed disk on the fixing seat is closely engaged with the toothed first lug of the connecting seat by the locking action of the bolt, so that the fixing seat is combined with the connecting seat rigidly and stably.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a support bracket for a camera housing system, wherein each of the fixing seat, the connecting seat and the transverse strut of the support arm is hollow, and the opening of the connecting seat faces the inside of the transverse strut, so that the electric wire of the camera is hidden in the support bracket entirely without exposure, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of the support bracket.
is A further objective of the present invention is to provide a support bracket for a camera housing system, wherein the bolt for locking the connecting seat and the fixing seat is located at the left side of the direction facing the camera and is locked in the clockwise direction, so that the fixing seat the camera will not be detached from the connecting seat due to the gravity of the camera and will combine with the connecting seat more closely.
Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent alter a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

In operation, referring to Figs. 1-5, when the bolt 52 is unscrewed to release the connecting seat 20 from the pivot seat 1 3 of the support arm 1 0, the connecting seat 20 together with the fixing seat 30 is rotatable horizontally relative to the pivot seat 13 of the support arm 10 as shown in Fig. 5, so as to adjust the horizontal angle of a camera (not shown) mounted on the fixing seat 30. In addition, referring to Fig. 6 with reference to Figs. 1-4, when the bolt 50 is unscrewed to release the mounting base 32 of the fixing seat 30 from the connecting seat 20, the mounting base 32 of the fixing seat 30 is rotatable vertically relative to the connecting seat 20 as shown in Fig. 6, so as to adjust the vertical angle of the camera "A" mounted on the fixing seat 30.
As shown in Fig. 6, each of the fixing seat 30, the connecting seat 20 and the transverse strut 11 of the support arm 10 is hollow, and the opening 27 of the connecting seat 20 faces the inside 110 of the transverse strut 11, so that the electric wire "B" of the camera "A" is hidden in the support bracket without exposure, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of the support bracket.
Accordingly, the toothed disk 40 on the fixing seat 30 is closely engaged with the toothed first lug 24 of the connecting seat 20 by the locking action of the bolt 50, SO that the fixing scat 30 is combined with the connecting seat 20 rigidly and stably. In addition, each of the fixing seat 30, the connecting seat 20 and the transverse strut 11 of the support arm 1 0 is hollow, and the Opening 27 ofthe connecting seat 20 faces the inside 110 of the transverse strut 11, so that the electric wire "B" of the camera "A" is hidden in the support bracket entirely without exposure, thereby enhancing the aesthetic quality of the support bracket. Further, the bolt 50 for locking the connecting seat 20 and the fixing seat 30 is located at the left side of the direction facing the camera "A" and is locked in the clockwise direction, so that the fixing seat 30 the camera "A" will not be detached from the connecting seat 20 due to the gravity of the camera "A" and will combine with the connecting seat 20 more closely.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
