Abstract

A business software application system and method integrates an e-mail management system, an e-mail client system, an HTML page generator system and a credit card payment processing system. The mail management method and system tracks correspondence exchanged with external entities such as customers and vendors, through e-mail messages, and the internal users of the system and the e-mail messages are then desirably imported into business software (of various types) and linkages created to such external entities within business software, from the E-mail Clients. The e-mail client enables organizations to store e-mail communication as part of the business software database and those stored e-mail communications would be available to any user of the software within the organization, so that the communication carried out historically can be referenced, retrieved and/or reused. The HTML page generator can be used by any business software application User and uses pre-defined HTML Templates with proprietary iTags that are installed along with the product on the client system. The HTML page generator replaces these iTags with dynamic data while creating the static HTML pages. These static HTML pages can then be submitted to search engines in order to increase traffic to an online shop. The credit card payment processing system has a credit card transaction interface that interacts with another payment processing software or payment gateway to process the transactions. The credit card payment processing system allows the business software application system to interface with another payment processing software or payment gateway although the format and communication protocol used by the Business Software System is different from the format and protocol required by the payment gateway or Payment Processor.
