Abstract

A horse rug with a cut away section 3 at the tail end of the rug, for use on a mare with a foal at foot. The cut away section allows the foal easy access to suckle. The blanket is also fitted with safety straps 1, 2 and 4 which will break under extreme force such as in the event of the foal becoming caught up in the straps.

Description

24 1 8830 Elorse Rug This rug is designed for a mare win a foal.
When a mare has a foal, she carrot wear a rug if the weather turns bad as the foal cannot feed from her and there is a fear of the foal getting stuck in the snaps.
To over come this, the present invention has a special cut away and safeW straps.
The special cut away allows access for the foal to feed, while the safety snaps will break under extreme force in the event of He foal getting stuck them.

    feed from its mother.
  2. 2. A horse rug according to claim 1, with safety straps that break under extreme force.
