Abstract

A recycling bin that has 3 removable inserts to allow waste to be separated, a pedal operated lid and wheels on the base of the bin to allow the bin to be manoeuvred. Preferably the removable inserts have hinged metal handles to allow the inserts to be removed individually the base of the inserts may also be grilled. The interior compartments may be made of plastic and the body of the bin made from aluminium, plastic or stainless steel. The bin may have a retractable handle such as those found on luggage/suitcases on the exterior of the bin.

RECYLING WASTE BIN
This invention relates to a device that will contain recycling domestic household waste disposal storage unit.
With new legislation requirements set by local councils for the disposal of household rubbish conventional kitchen waste bins are not appropriate for the separate storage now required by local authorities. To overcome this problem, this invention proposes a pedal bin container unit, supplied with or without wheels, that is utilised in a more effective manner. By utilising three separate adjacent interior compartments within a kitchen waste litter bin with pedal and with or without wheels on the base unit.
Therefore having the facility to incorporate all separate storage requirements within the normal domestic household kitchen environment. This invention of storage facility will ensure that all domestic rubbish can be stored internally and separately within one easy to use storage facility.
A pedal lever opens to reveal three individual interior compartments as required complete with metal handles to enable lifting of the individual compartments if required.
A wheel attached to the base unit ensures the easy removal of the complete unit to exterior waste containers.
The invention will now be described by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1: Shows the exterior design of the bin, showing the wheels & pedal operation.
The pedal lever operation demonstrates how when the pedal bin is opened by the foot lever compartments enabling each of the interior plastic compartments to be lifted out individually. The exterior design of the bin is shown which can be manufactured in various different shapes. The design could be manufactured in both durable aluminium stainless steel and plastic. Demonstrates the wheel as labelled as an attachment at the base of the unit enabling easy access to wheel the unit to exterior waste containers with relative ease.

Claims (5)

1. An aluminium stainless steel or plastic pedal recycling waste disposal
bin unit that has three separate plastic interior compartments for glass/jar disposal, aluminium cans disposal, general household waste disposal and paper/card disposal.
2. A free standing stainless steel or plastic waste disposal unit, with pedal lever and with or without the facility of wheels on the base unit.
3. An interior unit inside the waste disposal bin unit comprising of three different separate units for storage of domestic waste according to local authority legislation.
4. A free standing stainless steel or plastic pedal recycling waste disposal bin unit with wheels to assist in removing the whole unit to exterior waste containers.
5. A free standing stainless steel or plastic waste disposal unit comprising attachment means for a ground engaging wheels which can freely rotate on an axis to assist in removing the whole unit to exterior waste containers.
