Abstract

A device for the treatment of the scalp is in the form of a folding comb with two rows of teeth 4. One row comprises twelve wooden teeth, and one row six teeth made of felt fibre. Liquid medicine, stored in the body of the comb 10, is fed to the felt fibre teeth and released onto the hair during brushing. There are four magnetic wheels (3, figure 1) mounted on an axle above the comb, which rotate as the hair is brushed. A battery powered motor 8, mounted in the body of the comb, is connected to an eccentric wheel 9. The batteries 11 are stored in the cover of the comb. The creation of a magnetic field and the production of light vibration, are both designed to cause increased blood flow to the scalp.

Description

2411 588 Magic Grow hair comb (Revised) The invention relates to a comb
which encourages the growth of hair on the scalp, which includes two lines of teeth. Its size enables it to be discretely carried around.
An object of the invention is to provide a light vibration on the scalp whilst it is being used to brush one's hair. This occurs when four wheels start rotating during the friction of brushing. A magnetic field and light vibration cause increased blood circulation to the head.
The comb comprises of two rows of teeth. One row is made of a wood, and the second is made of a felt fibre. Liquid medicine is linked to the felt fibre and during brushing the medicine is released into the hair.
A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawing in which: Figure 1 Shows a cutaway view of the comb.

Claims (1)

  1. The liquid medicine and light vibration all combine to create a treatment
    for hair loss to be prevented, and also to encourage growth for sufferers of complete baldness.
