Description
Crystal mitt I am developing a new type of therapy, which is a combination of body massage and crystal therapy.
Carrying out this technique will involve using a Crystal mitt' (a), (see figs 1,2 3), which is a mitten worn on the hand. It covers the whole hand and is used to massage over skin.
The area of the mitt that will come into contact with the skin is soft and smooth (b). This will help to ensure the hands glide smoothly over the body when giving crystal massage treatment.
The padded area at the palm of the hand (c,d,e) acts as a pouch in which crystals and stones, such as rose quartz can be inserted. This will ensure the crystals are secure, stay in position and will not fall out when massage treatment is being carried out. Inserting crystals into the mitt allows the wearer to deeply massage part of the body, as the shape and hardness of the crystals and stones allow deep massage to occur, and the receiver also benefits as crystals have healing properties.
The mitt contains padding over the area of the palm of the hand (c,d,e) so that the crystals do not cause discomfort to the wearer of the mitt, while pressing against the bones of the hand, during massage treatment. The mitt can be used to massage parts of the body, such as the back and legs, of the person wearing the mitt, or on other people.
t)iaqrorns Figure 1 - shows the side of the mitt that will be in contact with the skin during massage treatment (anterior of the hand).
Figure 2 - shows the side of the mitt on the posterior of the hand.
Figure 3 - shoots the view inside the mitt. It shows a padded area that contains a hole in which to insert crystals and stones.

Claims (2)

  1. Claims 1. A mitt that secures to a hand of a user. The crystal mitt has an
anterior side and a posterior side.
The anterior surface is smooth so the hands glide easily over the skin. A padded area attached to the anterior side of the crystal mitt acts as a pouch in which crystals, gems and stones can be inserted.
  2. 2. A mitt according to claim 1, which has a hole within the padded region. Crystals, gems and stones can be inserted into the hole and will be securely placed to prevent the crystals, gems and stones from falling out during massage treatment. The crystal mitt can be used to treat and massage the person wearing the mitt, or on other people. It is machine washable.
