Abstract

The medicament applicator has a revolving head 3 with a sponge 2 fixed onto it which provides massage and thorough absorption of the medicine. Preferably the sponge 2 is self-adhesive and intended for single use and may be suitable for applying external medicine, creams and lotions. The applicator may be hand held and made of metal, plastic or any combination of these materials. A light 4 may be provided for use in poor light or during the night. The applicator may have a motor 8 and gear wheels 9, 11 and be powered by a battery 7.

Description

YEEBEN APPLICATOR
This invention relates to the external application of ointments, creams etc. The applicator includes a holder, motor, sponge, light, battery, etc. The product replaces the hand in applying external medicine, and protects your hands from direct contact with the medicine.
People have traditionally used their hands when applying external medicine, such as ointments, creams, tinctures, etc. Problems may occur with this method, as medicine may adhere to the hands and nails. If not cleaned off properly, this may cause allergic reactions or other skin problems. Also, some externally used medicines contain ingredients that smell disagreeably, and this may cause discomfort either to the person applying the treatment or to the receiver (particularly children). YEEBEN is designed to solve such problems.
The object of this invention is to provide an applicator that enables external medicine to be absorbed properly through even and gentle massage. As a result people can use external medicines more easily, effectively, and safely.
This invention provides an applicator including a revolving head, to which a sponge attaches self-a&esively. The sponges supplied are of three different sizes (small, medium and large). Thus any size and area of the skin can be catered for. As a result the external medicine may be applied comfortably, smoothly, and in a well-distributed way.
This invention introduces the concept of single-use sponges, which avoid cross-infection.
An important feature of the invention is that it has a light to help people use it in dark areas, or even at night.
Preferably the YEEBEN applicator is to be made of metal or plastic material - for example ABS - but it may instead be made of a combination of these materials.
A preferred embodiment of the invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawing in which: FIGURE 1 shows a front view of the whole applicator; 1 1 FIGURE 2 shows the side sectional view of the applicator; FIGURE 3 shows a side view of the whole applicator, sponge, and the head; As shown in Figure 1, the Applicator comprises a main bodyl having at its upper end a sponge 2, which adheres to the base of the revolving head 3. The hole 4 reveals a light showing when the applicator is on or off. The switch 5 regulates the applicators working.
The cover 6 is removable to allow the insertion of the battery.
Fig 2 shows the side sectional structure of the applicator. The battery 7 is linked with the motor 8 connecting three gear wheels 9. The three gear wheels with a shaft 10 and other two gear wheels 11 turn the revolving head 3 with a sponge on.

Claims (7)

1. A YEEBEN applicator includes a revolving head fixed to the main body, and one sponge fixed to the revolving head so that the applicator can provide an even and gentle massage ensunug the thorough absorption of external medicine.
2. As in Claim 1 the applicator has a self-adhesive sponge fixed on the revolving head. This means the sponge is used once only, thus avoiding cross infection.
The easy - to - change sponges suit different affected parts of the body.
3. As in Claim 1 and 2 the applicator has a comfortable and even speed thus ensuring an even better massage than with the hand. This means that skin diseases can be effectively treated.
4. As in Claim 1, 2 and 3 the sponge is suitable for many kinds of external medicine, such as creams, ointments, tinctures, lotions, etc. The applicator protects the hand in applying external medicine.
5. As claimed above the applicator includes a light for night-time use or for use in dark places where light is poor.
6. As claimed above the applicator is to be made from metal, plastic or from a combination of these materials.
