Abstract
The device is made from a suitable moulded material fitted to: Fig (1) bottle 'top' with collar attachment or Fig (2) directly to the top of the bottle neck. Fig (3) Having a number of apertures which allow normal outflow of liquid, whilst reducing the capability to contaminate the liquid with a pill or powder. The top of the device being larger than the bottom - to form a conical or bowl shape. Fig (4) Recessed on top, along the body and at the bottom to allow normal flow of liquid, when in use. The top of the device is larger than the top of the bottleneck - so as to become secure when fitted, without the aid of adhesives if required. Fig (5) when the device is attached to the bottle 'top' by means of a collar and placed on the top of the bottleneck - it will remain inside the bottle after detaching from the bottle 'top' and collar.
Description
24 1 0942 Title: Clubbers Thumb Description: A device, which reduces me
risk of harmful and unwanted substances, either in powder or pill format, being introduced into alcoholic and or non-alcoholic - glass bottled or plastic loomed beverages.
The practices of contaminating loomed drinks wim harmful and unwanted substances, either in pill or powder format for me purpose(s) of acts such as date rape' is becoming increasingly more common and ever present.
Unwanted substances can be slipped into bottled drinks at places/venues such as: night clubs, pubs and parties - with reasonable ea.- The device sets out to reduce me risk(s) of contaminating drinks by locating the device in the bottleneck.
It will be made of a suitable moulded material so as to have a universal fit to bottlenecks, which require the same sized betide tops. The device may either be fitted to the bottle top initially by means of a collar which will become detached with the bottle top when it is removed prior to the contents of the bottle being drunk or fitted directly to me top of me Bottleneck - the bottle top may men be fitted separately.
sit' . . The device can be fitted with or without a suitable adhesive. Pace
Claims (5)
- Page 2 Claims: 1. The device comprising a suitable moulded material whichhas a larger aperture at the top than it has at the bottom - forming a conical or bowl shape. Fitted to the top of the bottleneck so as to prevent unwanted or harmful pill or powder contamination of the bottles contents. The device will allow normal flow of liquid.
- 2. The device as claimed in Claim 1, will reduce the risk of harmful or unwanted pill or powder contamination, as the size of the apertures make it difficult for a pill or powder to get through.
- 3. The device as claimed in Claim 2, when wet has a clogging reaction with powder being introduced to the device.
- 4. The device as claimed in Claim 2, will have aperture(s) of such a size(s) as to make it difficult to contaminate me contents of the bottle by inducing pill format.
- 5. The device as claimed in Claim 1, will allow a normal non-restricted flow of its liquid contents because of the aperture(s) size(s), the holes that are at the bottom of me device and the recesses along the top, bottom and body.Pace 2
